It was ok didn't really enjoy the beach because of all the seaweed .. when I'm on vacation I don't wanna be bother our first day until we left there was calling our phones early in the morning trying to sale & sign up for seminars that was very annoying .. food ok I guess if you don't eat pork good luck I think I lost 2lbs & if you can eat the food it's small portions .. then after 10 it's nothing for you to do , it was ok but I wouldn't return

The air conditioning in the room was extremely loud and was deafening. Hotel staff who clean the room had to know how loud. I stayed at this resort about 10 times in the last 4 years. Front desk dismissed my concern. Other issue resort does not allow my uber to pick me up at the entrance door. I must walk to the end of resort to get my uber. When brought up to front desk was told policy. But my uber was able to drop me at the front when I arrived. Why inconvenience your guest to walk to front on the heat with luggage when leaving?

The property was nice, it does need some fixing around the pathway walk to the buildings, also the pool needs to be resurfaced many cracks inside the pool. Our first room was nice until we heard a loud cracking noise and it was a fused which left half of the room with no lights. They came to fixed it within 20 min. The cleaness of the room was good except for limited towels and ripped, no extra toilet paper either. I am sorry to say but half of the staff looked miserable at their job, some of them were not approachable. One of the pool guys very nice and attentive. The entertainment crew were awesome! The guys are the bar not very friendly or smiling. Second time coming to this resort within 6 years and I would definitely look at other resorts for different experience.

I loved that this resort was very family-friendly. It had a small water park for kids and a kids’ club, which my family really enjoyed. I also appreciated the nighttime entertainment—it was fun and lively. However, the food was not great, and the service definitely needs improvement. I often had to ask multiple times just to get water or coffee at breakfast before being attended to. Overall, the family activities were the highlight, but the resort needs to work on providing better service and being more welcoming to guests.

Room was very clean and spacious but it only had one trash can and it was in the bathroom. There was no light in the hallway where our room was so it was hard to unlock the door with our bracelet. View was not great from the balcony. It was very quiet. It was a great place to chill and relax. Loved seeing all the birds, turtles, iguanas while going to our room. Train was such a useful thing that this resort has. To sum it up it was a nice vacation.

Food was not good at all staff Employees treat you differently because you look Dominican not nice at all refrigerator was no cool at all all staff are looking for money i ask for fried green plantains for my son and kitchen staff say the couldn’t do unless we give them a tip on the side terrible will never come back i been to diffente resort i always purchased from Expedia never experience something similar very disappointed not a single activity in pool area hope it help other people before the purchase this resort thank you goodluck .

We stayed at Tropical Deluxe Princess in Punta Cana and had a wonderful experience! The resort was very clean, the food was excellent, and there was always plenty to do for both kids and adults. We weren’t able to reserve the specialty restaurants, but honestly that didn’t matter because the buffet was so good and offered a wide variety. One minor drawback was the vendors on the beach, which I thought would be more of an issue, but we just spent more time at the pool and it wasn’t a problem. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we definitely plan to come back!

Our trip was a nightmare. First, you can’t make a reservation for most of the on-site restaurants until 3 days prior. But you have to be there to do so. Those restaurants were underwhelming at best. There is a 24-hour sports bar. Just skip it. The food was awful. A chicken wing was actually a soggy chicken spine fried and dipped in a curry sauce. There is a buffet and it was a mixed bag. Avoid the burgers, stick with any Dominican dishes, fresh fruit. We were there at a time when there was a lot of seaweed washing up on the beach. When that seaweed bakes in the sun it is awful. Multiple times we asked for extra towels. At best, it took three hours to get them. At worst, eleven hours. If you do not speak fluent Spanish, you will have issues. Either the staff will not tell you things or they will refuse to help you. When the bellhop refuses to come because “I no speak English” and then hangs up, the service is clearly lacking. Our room was small but nice. Except for the smell of mold. It caused my wife to get sick every night of our stay. By the time the resort was willing to let us change rooms, we decided to leave — four days early. Nice things? Wild animals roaming the property. The pools are nice but crowded. The drinks at the pool bars are excellent.

We loved our stay at Tropical Deluxe Princess. My kids swam in the pools by the kid area. They also took advantage of the Kids Club House. We ate at the Buffett for breakfast and dinner but as they were playing in the water, they chose to eat lunch at the pool bar area close to the beach. Our rooms were cleaned everyday and the staff was so kind. Only downside was out of their control, so much seaweed at the beach it wasn’t like the beautiful beach pics we saw. However, we heard that it was happening in other places/countries as well. Base on my experience, I would return to this resort again. I highly recommend it.

The property had unhelpful concierge. It also seemed disorganized. The hotel rooms required transportation from lobby, making this so inconvenient because you have to wait to get picked up and be aggressive to go in and sit before others who came afterwards go in. The pavement was uneven,making it unsafe. The pools were not clear (it was cloudy). There was floating hair, band aid, and what looked like a turd. The restaurant food was bland and the meats were chewy. There was always at least one staff member who had the worst attitude. Please stay clear of Mexican restaurant, the food is not edible! The Brazilian restaurant was good, but the only woman waitress was so nasty! The entertainment team and their shows were impressive and truly so much fun. However, there is no real night life at this resort. The transportation comes every 30 minutes to take people in the evening to casino/dance club. The drive is two minutes away. The staff at the club were pressuring us to buy bottles and drink, even though, we were entitled to two free drinks. My friend bought a drink and hooka. The "manager" came over and yelled at the person who sold the hooka because he wanted us to buy a bottle. The whole time we were there they stare us down and kept asking what else can i get you? They said if you dont get something more by 2am, you have to leave the area. At 1:50 they kept circling us, like a count down. Also no one can get in water at beach at resort.because of brown seaweed.
