Very spacious resort, lots of amenities. Room key cards regularly deactivated, which is one of the reasons for the low rating. Whe showering the washroom gets soaked. Room was clean and spacious. The beach was nice and always enough sun loungers. Buffets were nice with a lot of variety. À la cartes were, just book early as th fill up quickly.

The stay was okay… Pros: (1) Clean room (2) water filter available on each floor (3) staff generally friendly (4) close to the airport (5) scenic property- tastefully decorated for the holidays (6) nightly activities for guests and the activities for kids Cons: (1) limited dining - food is repetitive despite the marketing of several restaurants. Same food for breakfast, lunch, dinner, note restaurants close at different times (2) staff a bit aggressive marketing the ‘membership’ - they wasted 4hrs of our day at the end to tell us the membership is 20k+ (usd) after promising it was only 90 mins. Language barrier also made communication difficult (3) generally an environment of hustlers - hotel staff hustling guests for massages and to take the membership, peddlers on the beach and the lobby, persons begging for tips. (4) hotel staff also very aggressive with compliments (5) flies were very rampant on the beach restaurant (6) no room service I personally will never stay at an Iberostar resort again.

Overall, great experience. My husband and I were celebrating our 30 yr anniversary. From arriving to the resort, the staff was amazing and very accommodating and made our stay special. The room was clean and nicely decorated. Restaurants had a nice variety of foods. The nightly entertainment at the resort was a plus. We look forward to coming back in the future.
