Easy access to the all the facilities including The Beach, I had a great beach massage highly recommend...the food is abundant don't miss Dominican night. the entertainment was entertaining?

I can’t say enough about how amazing the beach was. Beautiful white sand, cabanas, volleyball, amazing ocean waves! The food however was a huge bust. Even the “fancy and gourmet” restaurants located on site weren’t that great. A major part of traveling is having outstanding food. And it was NOT good. The drink was pretty good. If you have the Star Prestige package which costs a lot extra you have access to a special bar with even better drinks and snacks. Some of the staff was really amazing. Others didn’t seem to want to please us at all. As usual, bring tip money and you will get faster bar service. The villa rooms were really amazing. Can’t speak for the 2 large buildings. No traveling beach bartender. That was dissapointing.

Visited hotel last week of November 2017, firstly good points, great smiling staff, nice clean, well maintained. We booked Iberostar because we had great experience at Cancun resort. secondly food, very few options for vegetarian, also everyday buffet was very similar food, little change, not much variety. Deserts were same everyday. both buffet restaurants have only fans in 90 degree heat Chef showed up for the first time when we had to fill out survey form for hotel services, never saw him when we wanted some vegetarian food. a bird dropped on our table while we were having food - totally NOT ACCEPTABLE. Entertainment - one good night performance out of 5.- poor Health clinic - DO NOT BECOME SICK. this service is run by privet company who are not willing to help, just to take your money, we waited for 45 minutes no one came to see us, excuse they were busy with another patient. Would never visit this resort again.............

Stayed a week with my wife, and teenage son. The logistics were flawless. The staff overall was friendly, although many did not speak English. The beach and grounds were beautiful. Our room was comfortable, the air conditioning worked well which was really needed given the heat and humidity of July-Aug. The room refrigerator was not very cold, but was stocked everyday except one missed day with water, soda, beer, and cheap wine. We were upgraded to a jr. suite at no additional cost. The bed was comfy, but the pillows were flat. It was a short walk to everything. (beach, pools, restaurants and spa.) Shows at night were acceptable, and staff put in much effort even through the heat. Staff were friendly, and seemed well trained towards customer satisfaction, although there were a couple exceptions notably one where the bar tender presumably because he had not been tipped yet, just blew us off. The buffet had plenty of options, and was good! The specialty restaurants were another matter. The "Gourmet" place was horrible - We had lobster that was mushy, tasted bad, and smelled. Likewise the Seafood place was not good. Only the Oriental restaurant was a pleasant surprise. The Overall a well run hotel, with minor issues. Place I stayed at the time before was a little nicer, better quality, however was more expensive.

The resort is in a great location. The grounds are beautiful. The room looked beautiful, but the only comfortable thing in it was the bed! The food wasn't great and was the same every night. This was our third visit and we talked to the manager about the decline. She just brushed it off and made NO attempt to change our impression.

Very nice Weather was good Everyone that worked there was nice

Good food, good staff, over all good experience. You will find a drink you'll like and it has a great breakfast Buffett and great lunches. Every night they have a night show with great performances ranging from comedy to musical performances and great bars near beach, pools, every where there's a bar for you .

Food was terrible , left overs were recycled daily.

This is our 6th visit to the resort. I would of gave them a 5 rating but I have noticed they have slipped down from our past experience a little. They use to allow free use of the Jacuzzi hot tubs/steam room/sauna at the spa now they want $25 to use. I had a few workers asking for tips which I had never had before. The quality of the food at the specialty restaurants (Seafood and Gourmet) have gotten bad compared to the past but the Steak house was great. The Star team was great and still continue to make you feel special.

The hotel was very nice particularly the lobby areas and lobby bars. The room was comfortable with a nice balcony and a refrigerator which was restocked every day. The beach bar and nearby restaurant were excellent. The beach was great for walking north and south. The nightly shows were pretty decent and the music was good. I regret that I did not check out the disco so I can not comment on that. I did use the on-site gymnasium which was very good. The pools were ok but a little too noisy for my tastes. The beach itself was fine but it was too congested with not enough room to spread out. Overall I would say that this hotel is a good value.

We had a great stay!!!! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Great entertainment all day for all ages.

I HAVE TWO INCONVIENCE. WE HAVE 2 HRS WITHOUT WATER AND THE TUB WAS CLOGGED. OTHER THAN EVERYTHING AS GOOD. I WILL RECOMMEND TO MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY

We went there for a wedding for my niece and the staff did an excellent job of taking care of us and the wedding party. The food was great and so was the entertainment. The beach was beautiful....

STAY WAS NICE.. WE RESERVED 4 ROOM..WE GOT HIT WHEN THE STORM PASSED THRU... THE RESORT WAS CLEANED QUICKLY AFTER.. HAD ISSUE WITH CHECK IN AND CHECKOUT FOR A PERSON THAT DIDN'T ARRIVE WITH THE GROUP..THEY HAD A LOSS OF COMMUNICATION BETWEEN MANAGERS AND CREW.NOT ABLE TO EXPLAIN THE CHANGING RULES AND REGULATIONS...THAT WAS A SERIOUS ISSUE... PASSPORTS INVOLVED

Very good hotel for the family. Food very good, rooms good, service great. I would recommend this hotel.

The hotel was close to the airport. The hotel was nice, but the service was poor and our rooms had roaches. The people are wonderful, but the food was very bland and not tasty. The beach and amenities are good just wished the service matched.

I have no bad things to say about our stay here in Iberostar! Since the first day we checked in it was all amazing. Too good to be true actually. The only bad thing is DONT GO PARASAILING!!!! The worst experience! Other than that this place is kid friendly and the staff will not let you walk around without a smile on your face. The food was beyond amazing i yhink we over ate. Perfect perfect perfect!!!

Staff is very friendly. Hotel has a very nice and clean beach. Pools are nice. Rooms are just OK, nothing wrong but nothing great either. Food is decent in the buffet restaurants. We were actually disappointed by the food in the specialty restaurants. Drinks are watered down, not very good beer either. But, sometimes they had top shelf stuff too, that was nice. Overall we had a great time and will most likely visit again.

Great family place. Immaculately clean, great food and service. Great beach, international crowd. Highly recommend!

The hotel was very clean and well-kept. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, offering us an upgrade to our room upon arrival and sending a bottle of champagne to our room. The beach was kept in impeccable shape and there were many chairs available each day of our stay. Entertainment was offered each night with a show from the staff members. Aside from this and the small casino there were not many activities which was fine for us as we were just looking to relax. I wouldn't recommend this for someone looking for an active nightlife. The food left much to be desired, both at the buffet and the restaurants. We didn't come for the food either so it didn't bother us much but we were excited to have a good meal once we got home. Other than that, I would recommend this hotel.
