The food is terrible all the staff work so bad they gave me a room with people inside them they gave another room with no TV inside and no pillows super bad the hotel

need to be more eco friendly, too many insects/misquitos everywhere, the resturants were not open, the kids club was not open even when it was suppose to be- not parent friendly, no evening childcare

Todo estuvo bien, la comida muy buena, el equipo de animación es excelente y sobretodo muy entretenido, spicy, la chica y cada uno de ellos fueron muy buenos

This property is very worth it- not expensive at all for the amount of days and service my family and I experienced. The staff was great; helpful and nice. The room was well-kept and cleaned each day. The food at the buffet was amazing, and some of the restaurants that we visited like Garden Grill really left a great impression. Must visit!

The property wasn’t all that bad. I do have to say that our room had stains in the furniture. I later found out that the stains were from mosquitoes blood. Which means that the house keepers don’t do a good job cleaning. Our room was filled with those things—it was gross. In addition, one morning while we went to get breakfast we came back and found out that our drivers licenses, 7 credit cards along with Dominican cash and Dollars were stolen. We Reported it immediately, the security guy—who by the way seemed to have hearing issues—took a long report and never called the police. The hotels coordinator “Leonardo”made it seem like it was our fault for not leaving our belongings in the safe. And offered us a day in the spa!! He also told us that a lot of people do that to get something in return from the hotel! Well thank you Sr! They said they will do an investigation and that they will let us know. To this day— there’s no final report on who entered our room!! However, I do have to say that the staff members are extremely helpful—at the bar stations and the main restaurant. They are very attentive and nice. One person in particular, HEILEN— that man is gold! So if you ever go to this resort, don’t you dare leaving anything in your luggage— make sure you put everything in a safe as anyone can enter your room as they please.

The place I needed to relax while surrounded by nature. Fast service in all areas with multiple activities to keep one entertained. An experience of a lifetime!!🌺

This was our first time going to this resort. Very impressed overall with staff services and friendliness. The property and room cleanliness-superb. The food was delicious and well prepared. Need more staff for customer service. We waited in line for a long time for services. Also, communication in this department needs to improve. We did the Covid test prior departure, very organized, however it took a long time to go through the process since there were only 2 representatives. We were not informed to pick up results at main area. Since email was asked when we scheduled the test, we "assumed" that we were going to get results electronically. I am glad that we went back to verify because this could have been a delayed and possible missing flight back home. Regardless, we are definitely going back in the future.

The resort was not properly staffed. Hardly any of the staff spoke English. Some were very rude others were good. The food was not great at all I’m not sure I’d return

Do not stay at this property. even the people working there said it was not ready. but that they needed a job. its awful on so many levels. book elsewhwere

Poor service, not good food, bad drinks and not even some music at the pool and your not allowed to use your own speakers, everything it’s too far, waiting for a cart to take you from your room to the pools it’s too long of a wait and if you walk you waste at least 7 mins, if you forgot something in your room you loose at least 20 mins back and forth. restaurant staff too slow and not even bring drinks until you almost done eating, I know they may be short staff but not willing to work the extra mile, look for a better hotel with better service. Look something close to the airport because that’s where the best beaches are. (The Caribbean). Food it’s ok but always the same. Not going back at the same hotel never again.

Spent 4 days at the Bahia Principe Punta Cana. Traveled with my wife and 6 year old boy. The check and check out process was quicker than expected, approximately 5-10 minutes. Most staff members were very nice, others seemed to be disgruntled. The greenery and landscaping at the hotel was beautiful. The food was above average for an all inclusive hotel buffet, rice and beans were great. The pool was nice, but had a lot of broken tiles and two pools were closed. Our hotel room was extremely outdated, didn’t have a blanket, the mini fridge didn’t get cold and TV only had a couple of English channels to view. The worst part of the hotel was by far the beach. The entire beach front was lined with tons of seaweed and staff made no attempt to clean it up. We couldn’t use the beach because of the massive amount of seaweed. One staff member said the seaweed was extreme because of the time of year, but we took excursions to Macao beach and another beach and they were spotless and beautiful. Overall, we still enjoyed our stay. The rooms could use a makeover and the beach needs cleaning. If you can overlook those two aspects the hotel isn’t bad. I guess it’s expected for a 3.5 star hotel.

My opinion on Bahia may be influenced by Covid... but I hate how much has been blamed on Covid changes. I have stayed at other Bahia locations and enjoyed them... but this stay was unacceptable. The beach was great, the workers were mainly awesome, and our room was what we asked for. CONS: - drinks are terrible here. They had no strawberry flavoring (like what?), they didn’t know what ingredients went in drinks, and their alcohol was horrible and from the very very bottom shelf. - food wasn’t what we wanted, because almost all of the restaurants were closed. This led to very packed seating, quickly dispersed buffet, and issues with service. - Friday and Saturday was horrible. I am guessing Bahia is offering an increased number of day passes, due to decreased people in the rooms. By 8am, there were hundreds of people at the only pool that was open for us. Not a single chair, and dozens of people lined up at the only bar by 10am. No chairs were on the beach either, due to the crazy number of people. I have stayed at lots of resorts and even in busy season never dealt with that type of packed setting. - finally, the night life was HORRIBLE. There was no club, as is claimed on the website currently. There weren’t even night time shows (which I have NEVER heard of at a Caribbean resort). This means that after their pools close at the very early hour of 6pm...you eat dinner then either sit out at the one open bar, or go to your room. Most disappointing resort stay ever.

We follow insects control programs and strict programs of fumigation, which are carried out continuously. Due to our tropical climate and the landscaping that surrounds the Hotel, characterized by wide open spaces, and taking into consideration that we are located in a protected mangrove area, the presence of certain species coming from the exterior may not be avoidable at all times.
