Very nice place to stay. However, it is dramatically understaffed which was frustrating. Examples: one front desk person during peak hours handling check-ins, check-outs, ALL phone calls including new reservations. Restaurant has beautiful views. However, terrible service. Had to wait 20 minutes for breakfast without any server to our table. Finally, I grabbed the host and he went to find the one waiter, couldn’t find him so the host took our order. Had to ask for everything,no direct service the entire expensive meal. The gift shop/Cafe was closed most of the time without any true schedule. Only saw it open one time during our 3 day stay. This all could be avoided with more staff. At a resort, the one thing you want is decent service. But the rooms are really clean and nice. The indoor pool is nice, too.

We stayed at this hotel when our daughter attended college at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. It was a new Sheraton at that time and filled with western art work. It was great to come back after a few decades; we found it to be well-located with great views and an excellent value. Our visit was just after Columbus Day weekend so the restaurant was not staffed up to the challenge for breakfast but the staff worked hard to make it a pleasant experience in spite of being a bit slow in delivery.

Staff is rude and room is very dated. Room was not very clean.

We have been staying here for several years now and it is always a great experience. The place is spotless and rooms are spacious and comfortable, staff is friendly and helpful.

Drew down the bed sheet to find a long, dirty, old fingernail in the bed... yuck. There was also a dead spider smashed on the sheet. Room had bits of things missed by last vacuuming and last guest's item left in the shower. Long wait (more than an hour) to get seat at poker table. Dealers were nice. Food and service was good at the upstairs casino cafe.

Nice hotel with friendly staff, rooms were nice, breakfast was good and great views from room.

Nice spot. Great view. Would definitely stay there again for the right price.

IMO this place needs some new management and upgrades. During my visit the elevator was broken ( I was on the fifth floor ) and the thermostat was inoperative so we had to keep the door open to regulate the temp. Staff was generally unresponsive to our room issues and ignored requests for clean towels etc.

The lobby is gorgeous - great views of Prescott and Thumb Butte. Room was ok and clean. Great location in Prescott. Wish the coffee shop was open for drinks. Wife and I were at the pool on day 1 around 2pm and I wanted a coffee and she wanted a tea. Nothing was available. Walked up the diner in the casino (through clouds of smoke!) and all they had was Pepsi and traditional coffee from pot. The casino is very smokey. We went to the 3rd floor to try and get away from it, but all the floors are very open, so I think the 3rd floor was worse than the others. We ended up going downstairs and it actually seemed better. The pool was closed for maintenance for days 2 and 3. Kids were bummed. Was one of the reasons we chose this hotel, too. The sliding glass door sounded like a tornado was outside. I had to get the shower mat and a towel and roll it up and place it outside the door to block the flow. The room lacks plugs - with 2 kids and 2 adults with our phones and tablets, it was a fight to find enough plugs to charge things at night, and there were no plugs near the bed.

Clean place and friendly staff! We will be coming back when we are in the area again

Easy access off highway and sitting on top of hill with view of Prescott.

Bed too soft, bathroom floor dirty, no grab bar in shower, no chairs on patio, rug dirty. The tribe needs to spend some money on this place.

Close to downtown. Power and water stopped working so they refunded us a day so we could go stay somewhere else. This was my first time staying during the summer at this hotel and the rooms were very warm. The air conditioning didn't seem to come on even though we kept messing with it. I also called a week ahead to get a microwave put in our room. When we arrived it wasn't there and my husband had to go down to the desk to ask for it an additional 3 times. They also charge you for the microwave.

room was nice but dated. bathroom needs more light

Room was clean, and spacious. The staff of Prescott Resort was helpful and kind. The view of Prescott was beautiful. I would recommend The Resort as an option while in Prescott.

This is a great hotel. Great location, with easy access to everything in the area. The view cannot be beat. The entire staff were friendly and helpful.

The hotel was very nice. People were friendly and the staff was courteous and helpful. Beautiful surroundings.

Was their to get out of the Heat of Phoenix. Enjoyed Hiking, Golf and Bucky's Casino in The Hotel.

I stay at this hotel because of the staff and the location is minutes from work. I travel frequently to Presvott for business and have stayed here since my travels back and forth began. I would have rated this hotel a 5 months ago, but lately I have noticed some changes that have changed my rating. They used to offer microwaves in the rooms, but no not even their suites come with a microwave. You can have one brought up for a $10 convenience fee. The hotel vending machines always seem to be out of order or they don't have anymore of a certain selection. The hotel store is always closed. The hallway carpets are filthy and the TV remotes all seem to need new batteries. I usually don't write bad reviews but for the price you pay for an upscale room I just don't see the value in staying here anymore.

Very centrally located. Easy to get to university and the proximity to shops and to the lovely downtown/whiskey row is great.
