Pool was on property but closed. Advertised Wifi was terrible. No elevator to second floor. Ice machine was downstairs and across the parking lot.
We were booked into the Hampton Inn Kayenta but sent to the Kayenta Mountain View Inn across US Hwy 160, a much older motel without the complementary breakfast and the nice rooms and amenities.
Close to Monument Valley.
Please do not stay here, It is dirty, run down and generally unsafe, I am a 6'1" 210 lb man and I would not have felt safe staying here. I tried to book at the Hampton but Orbitz showed the Hamptom as fully booked. As it turns out, the nicer Hampton had many vacancies, so I went ahead and purchased a room at the Hampton, and proceeded back to the Monument Inn to cancel my room. Unfortunately they said no refund. Even though I had never stayed there. I ended up enjoying my stay at the Hampton. But numerous conversations with Orbitz support since then have been useless. They don't care that I never stayed at the Monument Inn and refuse to help me any further. I am done with Orbitz and any of their related companies. Great
Property is average for the area
This place had virtually no amenities other than WiFi. No frig, no microwave, no breakfast, no vending machines. Very bare-bones. Also, there were moths everywhere. Found at least a half dozen in the room.
This hotel is old not upgraded, does not have microwave and fridge way over priced for what you get , they are located 30 min from Monument Valley and taking advanatge of it , check other property I do not recommend this hotle at all , we did have to request to chnage room too dirty and bad smell.
Nice hotel near Monument valley.
This is a good place although I was surprised there was no refrigerator. I like to use them for beverages. Also, a few moths got into the room. Not sure how, but it's weird to sit in bed and see a big moth coming your way.
Great place to stay when near monument valley.
Bed bug bites and bike stolen from parking lot. Not the best experience.
The room and bed was very good. Would have been nice to have a small refrigerator and microwave, but that is a wish list item. The main problem we had was the AC unit. It was set for winter usage too early. Although the outside temperatures were cold, it was very warm in the rooms and it was difficult to cool the room down using an open door. The air from the outside would not flow through the room to bring down the temperature. Around the middle of the night, the room finally got comfortable.
It was to expensive for what you get. Strictly no check-in before 3 p.m. No need to stay in that town. Just drive through Monument Valley and stay somewhere more reasonable priced.
Grounds were a mess. At check-in, desk person was unfriendly and not welcoming. Close to Monument. Valley.
The card keys for the door didn't work very well. No fridge or microwave and free breakfast for the price was disappointing. Very happy with how clean everything was! 😊
The property has WiFi but it was pretty sketchy. My phone wouldn’t connect most of the time and when it did it was super slow. The pool did not have towels and we only had three in our room.
