No security lights or camera in parking area of second building. Convertible top was cut open and luggage removed between carrying backpacks to room and returning for luggage. Clerk was quick to inform us all she could do is call police for us. No offer to id location, report to hotel management, offer even a toothbrush. Avoid this hotel and avoid this town.

Hotel staff told us no WiFi at check in for over one and half months. No apologies instead she said we didn’t check their website. When we checked the website, it said high speed WiFi. So it is showed with Expedia for WiFi service. Room was ok but no one came by to change towels or check tissue paper etc.

The room was clean. The internet was not working and had not been for over a month. Monument valley was about 30 minutes away. The rooms had no refrigerator. We had trouble with the heat. We called desk and left a message no return call. Walked to front desk and attendant was not busy and said would send someone. Quickly changed to giving us a space heater because that is a central heating system in that room. I feel that communication could he been better. Lighting in the room was very poor.

Avoid at all costs! tldr: The bad - no internet (apparently for over a year, yet still advertised as to having it) - no hot water under the shower (*) - No fridge or microwave - Smelly room - Clogged toilet - Expensive yet without included breakfast - Definitely not a 3 star hotel - Indifferent (if not unpleasant) front desk staff The good (or rather the bare minimum) - clean room - Location Our family have visited over 30 hotels in the last three years, and this is definitely - and by far - the worst one we’ve been to. Forest of all the toilet was clogged! Lady at the front desk changed our room no questions asked, but we didn’t hear any apologies at all (maybe we expected too much…) The new room didn’t really turn out much better - while the toilet was fine, taking a shower was an ordeal! My wife had to wait for good 5-10 minutes for water to heat up, only to have it ice cold after a minute or so… It wasn’t just one off, all three of us had to experience this. Atrocious! The room also smelled unpleasantly, the AC was fine but quite loud and there was no fridge or microwave at all. the Internet is „currently unavailable” - but I see other reviews with the same problem from months ago. The good? I guess the room was clean(’ish) and location is fine for your trip to the Monument Valley. However, I’d recommend booking a room in The View or in nearby Hampton instead.

Terrible! From the unfriendly welcome at the front desk, to the bugs that welcomed us in the room, to the outdated decór, and mostly the crumbling walls and moldy shower. With a cost of over $300 you’d expect to at least have breakfast included… but no. In short, stay away!
