The location is awesome, in the woods and away from it all. Close to parking for swimming in the creek. Restaurant was small and great. The cabin was awesome, kind of lacked in the bathroom soaps and stuff so bring your own. Kitchen was fully stocked and we cooked there several times. The lobby rents out fishing gear to fish at the picnic area in walking distance. Great place for families, we brought our 4 boys. I can’t wait to go back in the winter.

Loved the Jacuzzi in the patio in room 44. Hated that there was no AC when it was 100 degrees outside. The rooms were spacious and the mountain view was beautiful. Saw a mouse. Receptionist kept saying I got a Expedia complimentary upgrade when I went through Orbitz and paid more for the creekside room. Did not get the creekside room. If I was the only one who stayed, I'd rate a "terrible". But since my kids loved the upstairs room with the view and the jacuzzi and easy access to the creek, I'd rate it an "ok".

I liked everything about it, the trees, the cabin condo, the service, and the location, and it was VERY clean!

Loved the location! Nice and quiet, but still close to Sedona and attractions. Stayed in #43 - nicely decorated and the temp was okay even though no A/C in the unit. Would have liked it better if there was a gas grill on the huge deck, and a pool would be nice for the hot summer days.

Awesome property. It’s in the perfect place with everything g you need. I would go back for sure!!

Superb experience in an environment of unforgettable natural beauty. Highly recommended.

The creek side cabin was great. Did not have house keeping.

The property has beautiful views of the canyon and creek. The property is also very quiet giving you a feeling of seclusion. The condos are tastefully decorated with all the things you need. The staff is always helpful and friendly. My only complaint is the second bedroom has a tv that does not have directv but only plays dvds. The deck is large but there is no private grill. I have stayed here several times and would stay again.

Being in a canyon away from everything and connected to nature, the sounds, the quality of customer service. The only thing I would adjust is the delivery of extra wood in the evening. We were told to pick it up at the reception.

This hotel is 8 miles away from Sedona, I didn’t notice it when I was booking. It’s nearby the road, so it’s not a real gateway. The rooms are spacious, clean and nice. We came on Sunday evening and the restaurant was just closed at 2p.m to be reopened on Wednesday!!!! It was a deal breaker for us. I believe it’s unfair. You still can purchase some food to cook at the lobby, the room is equipped with all the facilities but it’s very inconvenient, Sedona when you can eat is 15 min drive away.

Cottage 22 is a nicely updated unit with a beautiful creekside setting. We loved the constant, soothing sound of the cascading Oak Creek trickling below, accompanied by the awesome views of rocky cliffs across the canyon and the abundant bird life dancing through the trees that come right up to the large wraparound, private deck. We were pleased that the unit, though lacking AC, stayed comfortably cool with ceiling fans while temperatures in nearby, hotter Sedona soared above 100 degrees F. If you’re looking for a place to relax, a bit removed from the crowds of Sedona, and with all the comforts of home (fully stocked, modern kitchen; hdtvs with satellite and large collection of DVDs; firm, comfortable king size bed...) in a stunning setting, stay here. Only warning is that if you’re planning a summer visit and would intend to use the loft (second) bedroom, be aware that it (the loft) probably doesn’t cool off enough at night for comfortable sleeping temperatures.

We recently stayed at Juipine resort. A quiet property tucked along the oak creek river. We had plenty of space to spread out. It seems that each of these units is privately owned. Ours was dated but comfortable with a fireplace in the living room and bedroom and our friends was newly updated with granite counters etc. There were board games available from the front desk. I inquired about trails to run and hike and the front desk wasn’t able to give me much information. I stumbled upon a trail right behind the resort that runs along the river to another resort. A beautiful early morning run on the trail. We didn’t try the restaurant so I can’t comment on that. I would recommend this property for a quiet refuge.

We arrived a bit early and the staff made us comfortable until our room was ready! It was a great experience,we did not spend much time at the resort as we came to see Sedona and all its beauty ! We spent most of all the day time ours out on hikes and some off roading adventures. It was our first visit to Sedona and it wont be the last. We plan to do several camping trips here at some point when its a little warmer. The resort offers all you need to feel at home just bring your own food to cook in your room and it is like being at home.

Junipine is a quiet retreat located 20 minutes from downtown Sedona. The creekhome we stayed in was not the most updated but it was very clean, spacious and comfortable. We loved coming back after a busy day of sightseeing to a quiet spacious area with two fireplaces. We did 2 early morning hikes in the area which were a great start to the day.

Away from the hustle and bustle. 7 miles from Sedona. Had a fireplace in main living and bedroom. Full cooking kitchen. Quiet and Peaceful. Great employees, no complaints.

We visited sedona after thanksgiving, enjoyed the fireplace and condo was wonderful. Only criticism is that the restaurant was closed on mon/tues in off season and our stay was for mon/tues nights. There were snacks available in the registration area. Staff were wonderful. View of night sky amazing. Would like to visit in summer.

I want to thank you for staying with us and extend my apologies for the issues you experienced during your stay at Junipine. I did view your reservation and saw no mention of a mouse or an A/C complaint. We do always try to solve issues in a timely manner, so you are able to enjoy your stay. To clarify the upgrade misunderstanding, if you book with Orbitz you do not receive a hot tub. You booked a creek view and received a complimentary upgrade to a creek view with a hot tub. While an apology will not alter the outcome of your stay, I do hope you may consider a future Junipine experience and I encourage you to speak with our staff about any concerns if they arise.

Dear D.S. Thank you for taking the time to review our resort in the heart of Oak Creek Canyon. Due to the fire restrictions in the national forest we are not allowed to have gas grills on the decks of the creekhouses. We do have grills placed around the property, however. We look forward to having you back again in the future.
