L'Auberge is a beautiful property-between the views and the creek it is worth eating there at least. However, for the price it seems things could be a little better. The rooms have recently been updated, however they are obviously worn and not worth the price tag. In addition, it feels a little cheap to have snacks/water for purchase in the room-nothing complimentary-not even a water. The spa is nice, but once again, over-priced. At the end of your massage they put together a presentation of items they recommend you buy. Really? Summary-the staff is nice, the restaurants are good, and the views are amazing. Location cannot be beat. All for a premium, but there are places to stay all around with the same views and you can still have access to L'Auberge restaurants...
We are so glad we had the opportunity to stay at L'Auberge during this visit to Arizona and Sedona! Outstanding facilities and service with an unbeatable location. Complimentary shuttle to other local restaurants and attractions takes all the stress out of getting around. Just a very calm and relaxing place to stay! Can't wait to get back!
This was a return trip for us. Hotel is lovely however this time we stayed in the lodge which I was very disappointed in. The rooms are too small to accommodate the "big feel" furniture you are trying to cram in. The shower needs a stool and more ledge space to hold shampoos/soaps/razors, etc. Switch to dark chocolate at night for a more decadent feel. The spa treatment we had was wonderful. The spa is a joke.
The resort creates memorable experiences. We enjoyed some extras including: an excellent photography presentation by an extremely informative professional photographer and 'sound therapy" which was a new and rewarding experience. The mineral salt pool provided an excellent early morning swim.
What a nice time we had staying and dining at L'Auberge de Sedona. Staff excellent, restaurant excellent. We upgraded our room to be sure we had a great view of the red rocks. I strongly recommend doing this! Dining along Oak Creek is a must.
I have traveled quite extensively and this was one of my favorite places. The staff were amazing and the property was exquisite. While walking distance from town, you were up situated next to the river and in the woods so you felt as if you were miles away from civilization. I will definitely be staying here again next time I am in Sedona!
Terrific resort! Service, location, amenities; all superb. Check-in was quick and easy with all questions answered. I stayed in the Lodge, rather than in one of the cabins. The room was large and clean with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was also large and clean with a walk-in shower and two sinks. Turn-down service was excellent. Each of the rooms either had a balcony or a patio. The Spa was very nice; clean and well appointed. The property was lovely, though the flowers were past their peak, as the weather is getting past summer into fall. The resort is situated along Oak Creek where you can sit and relax, listening to the burble of the stream. Dining is very special, as the tables are situated outside along the creek. While dining outside is great during the Spring, Summer, and Fall, I would guess that during Winter, one would be accommodated inside with a view of the creek, but without the sound of the flowing water. I will not return to Sedona without being able to stay at this hotel.
Highly recommend this wonderful resoert. What a beautiful setting! Our stay there was magnificent. Service was exceptional. And the staff was friendly and went out of their way to help you. Will definitely come back next time we're back in Sedona.
L'Auberge has the best location in Sedona. A lovely stream flows in the middle of the property in such a way that it gives a perception of hush and tranquility. Illusion. There's no commitment to serve or please the guests. Since the arrival, at all the touch points, you fins a lack of leadership and training. Concierges that don't know what to recommend for tours, or guides for healing, hiking, trailing. The restaurant across the stream is terrible. The chef want to be creative mixing lots of diffferent proteins. The service just doesn't work and you can wait 30' for a single coffee. Unless you get there out of busy days, be patient to deal with service issues and don't expect great experience.
We truly enjoyed our relaxing stay in a cottage by the creek. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Our cottage was clean and had all the extras to make it special. We enjoyed walking around the property to see all the beautiful areas. Lots of photo ops.
