This is our second visit to Sedona in the last 2 Month. We stayed at the enchantement the first time and at the l’auberge this time. Our stay at the auberge was amazing. The room is absolutely beautiful as seen on the pictures. Love the shower outside. It was amazing showering while looking at the stars !!! Breathtaking and peaceful place. The yoga stretch sessions is a amazing way to start the day. Thank you again and we will for sure come back
stayed at this hotel with my husband for 2 nights. It was beautiful and peaceful. This hotel is creekside with a beautiful nature ambiance. We were here in February so it was a little chilly. We had an issue when we checked in, our room was not ready by 3pm. We told them we had just been travelling all day and we were tired, and disappointed. They made sure we were accommodated well by providing a discount for that evening and a complimentary breakfast the following morning. A really nice, clean and updated hotel. Great yoga in the morning. Its a romantic spot, and we would definitely come back again.
We stayed at the resort in early February. I only can imagine how beautiful the grounds would be in the Spring, Fall or Summer. We enjoyed our stay. Very relaxing. The staff was most helpful and pleasant.
Wonderful visit to Sedona - to a great facility and wonderful staff. It was relatively quiet; before the Spring onslaught. We upgraded to a cabin, just back from Oak Creek. Roomy and delightful. One easy suggested improvement: lighting -- add a lamp on the desk for work or reading and another lamp anywhere in the room for casual reading.
Unrivaled picture-perfect, Creekside, location combined with some of the best staff I have ever had the pleasure of meeting, made this spur of the moment one night stay an experience to be remembered! Four girls planned a one day trip to Sedona to merely lunch at L’Auberge Resort to check it out for future travel and just could not drag ourselves away! Luckily for us, there was a cabin available just one tier up from “on the creek”! Our cabin was well adorned with wonderful extras including an outdoor bath and a fireplace. Juan Quintana, an associate on staff, came and built us a wonderful fire and brought us extra towels and lovely toiletries since we had not planned on staying the night! His commitment to customers and professionalism is seldom seen and was lauded by these rather demanding travelling women. We insisted he take a tip and he refused! Bottle Juan up L’Auberge, he sets your standard well! Drinks at the bar this eve were slow to come out, but upon arrival did not disappoint. Pricey. Dinner was slow to come out but truly lovely outside on the patio. Breakfast delightful with another super server who went above the call of duty to pack up leftovers for the road! My only hint for future travellers would be to request a fire for the morning the night before! Can’t wait to return in a couple of weeks with another group of ladies…… for lunch!
We would definitely come back again ! So nice and relaxing and all of the staff was amazing ! The room was out of this world and all the extra touches made and incredible vacation ! The restaraunt was extraordinary as well and I can’t wait to come back !
We celebrated my husbands birthday here in January and it was Amazing. We upgraded to a creekside cabin, had breakfast in bed, and had a great evening at Cress. Spoiled ourselves with massages again. Just cannot believe the Amazing service here. This is a must stay if you are traveling to Sedona. We even had a little snow Saturday evening!
We felt so valued and cared for! Every staff member wished us happy bday. Our dining requests were taken care of seamlessly, and we had a wonderful time at dinner working with the sommelier trying new and different wines. Thank you L’Auberge!
If you are in Sedona, this is the place to stay. Beautiful surroundings and hotel. Would recommend this resort. My husband and I stayed there to get away for a while and it was very relaxing. We will be staying here again!
My wife and I stayed at L'Auberge for 3 nights. Overall, we were satisfied with our experience and would recommend the hotel for a visit to Sedona, but we felt like there were a couple areas where there was room for improvement. - The service was very good. Everyone we encountered from the valets, to the front desk team, to the restaurant staff, was extremely friendly, polite, and worked hard to ensure we had everything we needed. We made a few reservations via the concierge prior to arrival; however, when we we inquired about them during our stay, we learned that the reservations were never made (we had tried to follow-up with the concierge a few teams via email but never received a response). Not sure if there was a miscommunication along the way or just a mistake, but it would be helpful to provide guests with a confirmation of bookings upon arrival to confirm everything is in order. Regardless, we spoke to the front desk about it and they quickly fixed everything. The room was very nice - clean, spacious, and well appointed. We stayed in a Vista cottage which had an absolutely beautiful view of the surrounding landscape. One thing to note about the Vista cottages is that they are somewhat of a hassle to get to - you have to leave your car with the valet at the bottom of the hill (no option for self parking) and then get a golf cart ride or hike up the hill to get to your room. This can be a bit of a chore when you're leaving the hotel several times a day or just need to get to your room really quick. Would be great if there was a staircase from the valet area to the cottage area. We ate at both Etch and Cress, and we ordered room service. The service and ambiance at each venue was very good, and the food was decent, although a bit underwhelming given the price (found some better options in town). Room service was also fine, but the menu just mirrored the Etch menu. Would be great if it had some other options. While the hotel is in a fantastic location - along the creek with a view of the landscape - the layout is somewhat odd. The only buildings with a view of the landscape are the Vista cottages (which, as noted above, can be a bit of a process to get to); the main parking lot / garage is located directly in the middle of the resort (dominating the view from many of the rooms); the concierge is in a completely different building than the reservations / check-in desk; and the pool is located in a fenced off area adjacent to the parking lot. Not sure if there's strict zoning / building restrictions, but doesn't really seem like they capitalize on such a beautiful location. In terms of the little things - there are some they do very well - delicious breakfast pastries in the morning, water always available at the valet stand, fast internet, great recommendations from the concierge re: hikes and activities, very helpful booklets re: things to do in the surrounding areas, very helpful valets; and there are others where there's room for some improvement - no welcome refreshments upon arrival, no tour of the grounds / facilities, no pricing list with the in-room snacks (which led to a surprise bill at the end), no luggage pick-up from the rooms, and no warning about the family of wild-pigs living on the grounds (not a big deal, but a bit surprising if you encounter them at night, especially if you're used to boars). As mentioned above, we did enjoy our experience and would recommend the hotel for a visit to Sedona, but we just felt like there were a couple things that, if remedied, could take it from a good experience / hotel to a great experience / hotel.
