When I checked in, they asked if I had a preference with 1st floor or top floor. I asked where ever is the quietest. She put me on the 2nd floor right in front of the pool that closes at 10pm, which is 1am eastern standard time. That room was not quiet at all, people hung out right under the room talking and laughing until it closed. Not sure if she was trying to be funny but it wasn't. I was on a short stay in Sedona and wanted to try and stay on east coast time as much as possible.
Beautiful area - the scenery is beautiful. Not enough help at desk- too chatty . Policy for dogs enforced differently from other IGH properties that we have been guests at. Unfortunate alarm issue at around 5 am - fire alarm issue necessitated all guests to leave building and gather outside in the cold. Only one employee on premises . No one explained issue or offered any assistance to guests - many of whom where small children or seniors .
Good things: Breakfast, hot tub outside, rooms with contemporary finishes.
We stay at Holiday Inn Express hotels often and are always pleased with our stay. The staff is friendly and rooms are clean. This particular property was a bit more dated than others, but was still clean. Breakfast being included is always big for us when traveling with a family of 5 & they offered a decent selection of hot items everyday. The pool was meh. It was clean, but the lounge chairs were pretty dirty and one was covered in bird droppings. They needed a good scrub down. Overall the stay was nice. Close to lots of things in northern Arizona and just a few hour drive to some popular destination sights. I would stay here again without hesitation.
Room was OK with microwave and small refrigerator. Good parking quiet AC.
Centrally located in the heart of Sedona. Most attractions are within a 15 min drive.

Clean rooms. Breakfast was okay. Wouldn’t give us a cot, even though we had special instructions to be provided with one.
I did not check out any of the amenities and I didn't see a NA option there. So I chose OK. The pool looked great however. I was very impressed by the friendliness of the check in staff and how clean and up to date the place was. My room was comfortable and the bathroom quite large with an incredible shower. I slept like a baby as the bed and pillows were comfortable. When I left at 430 the following morning Kevin was insistent on making sure I had a yogurt and a muffin to start my day and did I want a coffee or tea. He was very kind. This was my last night in Sedona as I was moving to Scottsdale and it was a great last night. Thank you.
