The rooms are fine but no fridge or microwave.I called the desk for a wakeup call and never received it😐
Total disappointment. I picked the “king suit” we wanted a king bed and thought the jacuzzi tub would be nice, relaxing and romantic. There are holes in the wall that used to hang pictures. The jacuzzi tub is covered in mold. You are not allowed access to the amenities at the “Cliff Castle casino/hotel” in short, this place is TRASH! Oh ya, and not cheap! One night in an awful, rundown, trashy place should not be cost this much.
We stayed in rm.222 and 248, I want to be honest so you know what your room could be like. It was unsanitary, human and animal stains all over the carpet, tubs didn't drain so when you shower your ankle deep in water, ceiling mold above bathtub, exhaust vents so dirty you can't see the actual vent, my front door was so dented like it been in a forced entry, found previous tenants dirty clothing left in drawers, the bathroom lights were full of dead bugs, and the room next to us sounded like a all night child care center that lasted till 3am. The premises and grounds were also filthy food stains, trash everywhere and property beat up and not maintained. I've never paid so much to stay in a dump.
casino was nice
Clean and comfortable. Not fancy but ok for the price!
It was quiet and I felt very comfortable
Very avg. Property. Price and proximity to highway very good. Casino up the hill is nice. First time in the area. Next time, I'll sp ND a few extra dollars and stay right in Sedona
Rugs were filthy. No fan in bathroom. No ice machine. Very noisy, walls were so thin we could hear people next door. They were coming in and out probably going to casino by the shuttle. No outlet for coffee machine, had to move machine by the bed. One chair was so flimsy we were scared to sit on it.
The room was very old and like a motel from the 1950s. We would never stay there again.
The Lodge had zero reception for my AT&T plan and no wifi while i was there... unacceptable. ANY time a door closed in the entire attached building you could hear it and if close enough, the room shook. Also the walls are paper thin. Terrible place. Appropriate price is maybe 30-40/night.
The TV did not work. The AC did not work. The door knob was busted. They give you only 1 soap for a long stay. I found hairs in my sink and other type of hairs in the bath tub. They need to hire people with high hygiene standards.
Being that the hotel wasn’t physically connected to the casino ,and the rooms were a bit on the old side and outside my door was a small table and chair ( ground level ) that was covered in dirt and spider webs , but still they have a shuttle service and it’s a short drive anyways so really it isn’t too bad . And the few employees I interacted with were all nice people which was great . And the food wasn’t bad .
The Lodge is older that the casino hotel is, and has outdated carpeting with stains, and older ac/heater units. There was no mini fridge either. Due to limited electrical outlets, the plug for the wall mounted flat screen tv was inserted into a power strip positioned to hang just below the tv to use for additional electronics. There is an outdoor hot tub /pool combo, which are in good condition. Check in was a catastrophe, and even with a reservation and arriving at 7 pm, we still had to wait 2 hours for a room to become available. No discount or offer for a future upgrade was offered, or even a perk of a casino voucher for free play or food, which was disappointing.
Shower dirty,carpet wasn't vacuum ed
"The Lodge" is not connected to the casino or main hotel. It is a short drive away and is treated as the ugly step child of the property. The pool is unkempt and the rooms are in need of proper cleaning and repair.
