Check in was difficult. The lodge is about a 1/4 mile from the casino. The Lodge check in was closed so we had to go to main casino. The parking attendant would not let us park in check in parking so my girlfriend took the vehicle to parking while I started what would be a 40 minute ordeal to check in. The only clerk on duty at a large hotel had the privilege of a 75 year old Karen from hell. He had to get approval from management for what she wanted, she got away with one. The young man did a good job with a difficult person. Problem was I and another man were waiting to check in. After about 20 minutes an older woman came from in back and asked if I needed help, I told her I was checking into to Lodge portion of the property. She said she would get “Coralline” and disappeared. After about another 10 minutes the other clerk had finally finished with his Karen and helped me. It was weird and a poorly done experience, but for a pet room the price was good and because of business I have in the area I will stay there again.

I booked two rooms for one night each room . When I checked in I was only given one room . The hotel manager said that it was an error from your company . I showed them my receipt for two rooms but I was told there’s nothing they can do to fix it since it only registered as one room . They didn’t accommodate us and unwilling to give us another room , stating they were full . Imagined the dissatisfaction and disappointment on our side but no one cares especially when you don’t looked like them . But we stayed in one room because it was raining and there was a flashed flood warning in the area . I hope you won’t make this mistake again . I was only charged for one room

My stay at the Lodge was great. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable, and I got a good night's sleep. I would have preferred a room on the ground floor, but I was lucky the room was available and will stay there again.

Be be careful, the lodge is not the main hotel for the casino. The large property looks like it’s been uninhabited for years, but is still in use. When I tried to switch over to the main casino, I was told it wasn’t possible, even though I was willing to pay whatever the additional cost would be. Also, even though the ownership is the same, you’re not allowed to use the Jacuzzi at the main hotel.

Shopping is about 15 min from the hotel We went for the non-profit Out of Africa, staff are amazing, all monies go to animals care. 45 min from Sedona lots of trails and parks, and Historical Fort Verde is 20 min. Cannot forget Jerome very cute historic town.

Have stayed here before, and usually have a good experience, but my room this time the chip reader in the room door broke twice, the showerhead shot off when I turned on the shower the first time, the shower was constantly leaking, and there were roaches on the front sidewalk outside of the hotel
