Excellent staff and sea view.
This hotel is undergoing a remodel but it probably need to be completely rebuilt. The exterior looks nice enough but once you get past the lobby it smells like a nursing home and looks run down. The faucet to the sink came off in my hand every time I used it, the balcony felt like it would collapse. The pool windows are so grimy from the constant condensation you can barely see out of it. I was really looking forward to coming here to celebrating my birthday here and was extremely disappointed. I paid way too much and the experience was not worth it. I do not recommend.

The outside is beautiful and historical looking. Sadly, the front desk personnel was very rude. Would not let you check in until exactly at 3pm and allowed a build of a line. When we got to the room, the view was great and the jacuzzi looked good. Then we started looking around and noticed dirt on lampshades, pillow cases, no screws securing the drains. There was also quite a strong smell of mold coming from the bathroom. It was also quite humid in the room. My wife and I were going to dinner and thought turning on the air might help and maybe hotel is just old. We came back three hours later. Boom! Now the whole room was a sauna and the mold smell was intense. We packed our stuff immediately and left. I did let the front desk know, but the same lady, who told us about the check in said, “Well our management is not here and you didn’t tell us early!” Let me just say no hotel should ever smell like mold. Did I mention this room cost us $275 and they weren’t enforcing the wearing of masks! Lesson learned even if there is one comment that is negative it’s probably true.
The place is kind of run down. The beds were very uncomfortable an I felt it was very overpriced an I would not recommend this place

It’s unfortunate that this hotel in a beautiful location with a lovely spa tub room had possibly the worst customer service I’ve experienced ever at a hotel. When I checked in they took my card which I thought was for incidentals and double charged me. When I asked if that was a hold charge, the person then proceeded to be rude and told me I was wrong and that I had a balance due. Then I called the online site to confirm that I had already prepaid. She knew that she had overcharged and accused me of giving the wrong credit card so it was confusing. She never apologized. She never offered to call a manager or to help figure out the issue. This happens on occasion with online sites and never has the check in person been rude about it. I am easily forgiving but later in the hallway, she scowled at me. Overall a very unfortunate experience. Overnight there was also a drunk girl in the hallway trying to get into her room for over a half hour in the middle of the night.
The staff was beyond helpful to me during an impromptu surf trip. They offered advice about the area, helped with late check out, and were talkative even at the late hours we checked in. The rooms were well maintained also.
The room were smelly out dated old and dirty. The room is not worth paying for the price the pool looked dirty and old
The view was beautiful. We were able to see the ocean from our room and we sat out on the balcony and watched the surfers. There was also a good breakfast at the restaurant that was included in the room rental. It was close to the city too. Overall it was a great place to stay and we would stay there again.
We loved our room and view! The location was perfect we got to watch surfers from our patio all day. We will deffinately be back.
This was our second stay at the hotel. Our first experience was pretty nice for a one night stay and decided to stay this valentines weekend. However, this visit was not great. Room was gross! Stained curtains, chrome peeling off fixtures, dead bug in drawer, and mold in shower corner. Very disappointing.
Great for the price! Very nice location, very small staff but very friendly. Free breakfast and very relaxing!
