basic accommodations at a good price - but lackluster

Room was aweful and the bed was not even level. I will never go there again.

The furnishings / bathroom / wallcoverings / curtains have most likely not been updated since 1967. Curtains hanging from broken rods that had to be pinned together. The best thing - place was cheap. Friendly check in young woman. Guy in pjs for check out at 10am. Interesting

I needed inexpensive housing to do some research at Wesleyan. This is the cheapest option that is still within walking distance (30 min). (I wanted to avoid renting a car to just drive a few miles each day.) It was fine for my purposes. Internet was a little spotty, but free. Fridge in room is a bonus, and I was able to keep costs down by shopping at the nearby A&P.

While the beds were comfortable and the hotel pretty quiet, there were several unsettling issues with this hotel: dirty towels in the bathroom upon my arrival; mildewy shower curtain (which should have been thrown out a long time ago); evidence of a roach problem(roach trap, and what looked like some type of white powder along the baseboard); and, probably the most unsettling was my 19-year-old daughter being approached by a guy in the parking lot who wanted to sell her "mushrooms". There was also a van in the parking lot with flat tires that was filled with what looked like someone's possessions. I didn't feel at all safe at this hotel.

Best Linens I have ever had in a hotel...otherwise, Wesley Inn is adequate, dependable, reasonable and yes, we would go back.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Easy to find and I would stay again. Very happy.
