My husband and I have stayed at this hotel several times this time of year. We have always enjoyed it. We were a bit disappointed this time because the outdoor fire pits were closed and then we had no hot water in the morning. We had to take very quick and very cold showers. After speaking with other guests we learned they had no hot water as well. One guest said her party was planning to stay another night but decided to go to the Hyatt down the road instead because they couldn’t go without hot water another day. The staff is very nice and the property is well maintained.

It was good hotel, restaurant and tidy room! But Indoor pool was not.... Water temperature was cold, I could stay in the pool within 10 minutes. And water quality is not good.

The hotel was nice, loved the outdoor fireplace.. One mishap… the cleaning staff came to clean the room after breakfast but my husband was in the shower I asked her if she could back in an hour but it seem that my request made her upset by the way that she looked at me and she never came back to clean the room.

This hotel is very conveniently located across the street from the Mystic aquarium and Mystic village - making it an easy choice if traveling with your family with the intention of checking out either or both of those spots. The property is well maintained and the staff and service were very good. The room we stayed in, with two double beds, was small. The bedding was stiff and the mattresses were very firm. The temperature of the room was difficult to control as well. The indoor pool was chillier than we anticipated. There was also a traveling basketball team staying there at the same time we were and they were extraordinarily loud late into the evening.

The restaurant was so nice and I highly recommend the hummus platter! We had that and some cocktails and dessert and enjoyed all of it. The pool was lovely and heated and I was so grateful for the adult hours from 12-2 and 9-10pm as the kids on the winter took over and there would have been no way to swim otherwise. What a great idea! Many conference rooms and the hotel was clean and quiet for sleeping. The staff was doting and thoughtful. Right across from the aquarium and the mystic village shops too! Close to downtown and the drawbridge
