Mystic Get away
The houses were both beautiful. Because of the way it was listed, I did not realize it was 2 houses that are not internally connected. It is listed in the property description but I must have overlooked it. The property is a great location. Plenty of parking. Gerard was a great host. We walked almost everywhere which was nice. This was our first VRBO experience and we will definitely look for other houses / opportunities to book in the future.

Absolutely glorious vacation spot for a family reunion
We gathered with extended family for a few nights in October. Cousins, second cousins, aunts, uncles, and a 95-year old great grandmother came together here for a few nights while attending a nearby wedding. This house (really two adjoining townhomes) had it all. Beautifully appointed. Plenty of space (for people AND cars--we had six). Kid and pet friendly (gates for the stairs, high chairs and pack-n-plays, step stools in the bathrooms so kids can reach the faucets). It was amazing. Things I am used to just dealing with at other rentals (lousy showers, no amenities, crappy cookware and dishware) this place clearly took care to address. More attention to detail than I've seen at any other VRBO (and we rent a couple a year). If the actual place isn't enough, the location is second to none. Easily walkable to downtown Mystic and multiple parks along the water. If you forgot anything (and the hosts didn't already anticipate that), there's a CVS steps away (along with a wine and spirits store...for those who are staying with family). I booked the VRBO for the whole extended family and everyone raved about the place, which met our every single need. Gerard was so responsive and accommodating to every request and a pleasure to talk to. I would so happily stay here again if life ever brings us to Mystic again.

Weekend in Mystic
This property was perfect in every way! You could walk to the town and drawbridge as well as minutes to the aquarium and olde village. The host was very attentive and the home was exactly as described. The property also provided such nice extras like makeup remover pads in the bathroom.

Great place for a big family/multiple families
We had a great week! The house easily accommodated several family members ages 5-70. It was an easy walk to downtown Mystic and a good launching place for other day excursions. The hosts were very responsive, but the place was so clean and instructions so clear, we didn’t need much :)

Historic Gem
This historic home was nicely restored and offered plenty of space for all of us. It was really convenient to have 2 sides to the home as we stayed with multiple families. Very clean with adequate amenities. Very quick walk to downtown Mystic, restaurants, shops, icecream, etc. Property owners clearly take pride in home and were very responsive. Would highly recommend accommodations and location!

Just the Right Amount of Everything
We thoroughly enjoyed our time here!
-The hosts were one of the best I have for a rental. They were super responsive, they even had little baskets with supplies in case we forgot something, and all we had to do was just lock the house when we departed.
-The rooms were comfortable and there was enough space in the areas to gather together comfortably.
-Great location to walk to the downtown area.

Exactly as described
Overall we had a great experience. The property was just as described in the listing. Small details were appreciated such as a basket of items that we may have forgotten at home (toothbrush, toothpaste, even some microwave popcorn!) We also appreciated that we weren't asked to strip beds, run laundry, etc....only asked to start the dishwasher before vacating the property which is certainly a reasonable request. Great experience.

Great location and lovely historic home.
This was a great location to see the area. It’s walkable to downtown mystic and a short drive to the village. This is two separate town homes, which wasn’t an issue for us and gave everyone a place to hangout. We had everything we needed for the stay including laundry items.
This is a historic home so be aware the floors are a bit uneven in places and there’s no closet space really to hang much. Plenty of storage has been added to the home to supplement for the lack of closet space.
Gearld went above on his communication to make sure we had arrived and everything was going well for our stay.
I would not hesitate to book this home again. It was a wonderful experience all around.
