This Holiday Inn has been a go to on the way to Cape Cod. We love its location and convenience to the aquarium and seaport as well. Some things are starting to show signs of aging but overall great stay for overnight travel.

good place to stay that is affordable in Mystic

I thought the bed was extremely comfortable in the room was very clean. The only downside was we were right next to the elevator. The good part of that was we didn't have to walk miles to our room. The bad part is every time the elevator went up or down our room vibrated.... we never said anything because I'm sure it happens all the time and we were so tired after working all day that we slept through it but be one if you get that room next to the elevator. The service was wonderful and welcoming, and it worked out very well for us and in the end, the elevator didn't matter, but I could see where it might have! The Mexican restaurant next-door was amazing.

The property was fine. Just a standard Holiday Inn. The hot breakfast was wonderful. The indoor pool was absolutely terrible. It was small, freezing and had the most slippery tile floor I’ve ever encountered. All 3 of my kids slipped while walking and my son split his face open with his fall. The manager even warned us before we went in. They really need to do something about it.
