Quality and Value at The Watershed

First time at the Watershed and we would definitely return. We have family in Southport and there aren’t a lot of options. We like the Delamar but the price point makes it hard to stay there every time we come to visit. We found the Watershed this time and although it was a little drive for us it was totally worth it. Location is near the river and train which made for nice view. Overall property had a good design, and seems well maintained. Rooms were quiet and clean, large bathroom and appreciated the Malin and Goetz amenities! We stayed three nights. House keeping was great and we always came back to a tidy room. Beds were comfy, just wish they had down pillows. Ones we had were overstuffed and not especially comfortable. Parking easy and free and everything you need is nearby. Friendly staff, we will definitely return.

We had a great stay at this hotel. It all looked new and trendy, the staff was welcoming. We loved the bathroom and the detail of the finishes in the spacious room. The roof top is cute and the gym has the essential. Location is very convenient not far from main roads.

Everything was great, very nice place to stay. Restaurant is very good. Was a little surprised there wasn't breakfast, but the staff directed us to a great little place a block away. All in all, definitely a place I'd stay again.

Its overpriced for what you get. The walls are horribly thin. The included breakfast is coffee and oatmeal packs and decorative apples as fresh fruit. The breakfast station is a bit messy and small. This is a one night only if necessary type of place.

Where to begin. Every inches of this property was filled to the brim with friendly helpful knowledgeable and kind staff. Even in the restaurant. The only bummer was coffee is not automatically in the room but going downstairs wasn’t the end of the world and you could ask for a French press to be delivered. Peaceful Norwalk River setting and the train was charming and relatively quiet.
