All the hype at the look of entrance doesn’t equate to no water supply, no complimentary breakfast, no brush, battery missing in TV remote. It’s a nightmare especially if you checkin after long day. Called reception for tooth brush and paste missing in welcome kit. I was asked to go down and collect.

Lovely older hotel with comfortable beds but lack of noise barrier between rooms and hallways made our stay difficult to enjoy. Was surprised to hear they charge to use the pool that we were just passing through anyway.

The 2 beds were very soft foam which were hot and gave both of us back aches. There was only 1 lamp by the 2 beds and it was unplugged. There was not enough light in the room. The outlets were behind the beds so the mattress had to be moved to plug in CPAP machine and lamp. There was only 1 chair for 2 people. I had to sit on a luggage rack when we both needed to use the desk. The room was clean. Housekeeping does NOT come daily.

Ok but not worth the price

I recently stayed at the Norwalk Inn and had a mixed experience. The suite had a pleasant colonial feel and offered easy access to Wi-Fi, which was a plus. The multiple rooms with seating and the large king-size bed provided a spacious environment. However, the bed was very firm, which made it difficult for me to get a good night's sleep. There were some peculiar aspects of the suite that I found inconvenient. For instance, there was nowhere to hang bath towels, which I found quite odd. Additionally, despite having a couch in the suite, it wasn't a pull-out couch. I was informed that most of their suites do not have pull-out couches, which is a significant drawback for families looking for more sleeping options. On the last day of my stay, I had a rather unsettling experience. I left my room briefly to get food for breakfast, and upon returning, I found that someone had already started cleaning my room even though it was before checkout time. This invasion of privacy was quite off-putting. Overall, while the Norwalk Inn has some positive aspects, there are several issues that need addressing to make it a more comfortable and family-friendly option.

It has a general feeling of a cheap rehab. The mattresses weren't very comfortable, and each queen bed had only 3 half-sized pillows. I've never stayed anywhere that didn't have regular sized pillows. Weird.

The hotel is pretty basic now, but still a great value. Used to be amazing a few years ago. Really miss the included breakfast and water bottles in the fridge. My only real issue was that the hotel charges $8 per guest for using the pool. The front desk lady who checked us in was super nice. I think her name was Jen. She was the only thing that really reminded me of the old days. I would definitely prefer to pay more to get the old Norwalk Inn back.

For the price we paid for two nights stay well over $600 a breakfast should have been included. Most hotels do. Or at least coffee and not the terrible kind in the hotel rooms.
