Hampton Inn Danbury

Typical Hampton Inn. You could be anywhere in the world. The only odd thing is that they gave me a handicapped room which meant a shower designed for a wheelchair. The shower was fine but despite drains in the floor, it was impossible to shower without getting the entire bathroom floor soaked which meant then standing in water to brush your teeth. The floor didn't seem to be pitched to the drains as there was water everywhere but around the two drains.

hallway smelled like food cooking on all floors maybe the exhaust system needs to be improved

The room and hotel in general were very clean & comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, with multiple options. The pool & hot tub were fantastic. This is the hotel that I prefer to stay in when I visit the Danbury, CT area.

Hampton Inns are always a good value. Friendly, helpful staff, with no attitude which is always a plus! Room was clean, hotel was fairly quiet, and the free breakfast is so convenient.

Love this hotel - great breakfast! Very clean rooms and the staff is always helpful. I like that there is always fresh coffee and tea available in the lobby. As someone who works late it is very nice to be able to walk down and get a hot drink!

Horrible. The indoor pool was monopolized by many young children (15) with no supervision who were yelling, running, jumping, splashing. Some parents were actually telling the children to be more aggressive in their play. It was not usable by anyone else. Staff did nothing even after complaining. Several adults looked at the pool and left after seeing what was going on. I would not go to this hotel again.

Well worth the money. Everything I wanted from a hotel at the price of a motel. Very happy customer.

The hotel is in an excellent location between Ct and easy access to New york. WE stayed as our daughter was in New york visiting friends and I have family in both Conn and New york. The breakfast is fabulous hotel staff could not be any nicer. the rooms were large and quite comfortable. The pool area was busy and energetically refreshing. Would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Good if brief stay in well maintained, well organized business hotel. Everything worked, and the staff was pleasant and well turned out.

I called ahead of time with a special request for a quiet room location at the end of a hall due to needing to sleep days (working nights for first time in about 20 years). Upon arrival, the staff said that due to using Orbitz, the only room they could give me is a handicap room near the lobby; that location could not be changed due to Orbitz terms. I showed them my copy of the reservation that didn't specify a handicap room. After repeated requests, staff promised to move me in a couple of days; which became four. The new room was located near the ice machine; another obvious message that my business wasn't needed in the future.

Friendly, courteous, and helpful staff. Price was perfect. Breakfasts were fabulous. Enough choices for all individual palates. And the breakfast area was inviting. Rooms were spacious. Very comfortable beds. Would definitely use this Hampton Inn again when visiting family. Danbury Hampton Inn is located on a road with many stores and restaurants, but it's set back enough for privacy and relief from any traffic noise. Our only disappontment during our stay was the less than sound proof walls. One moring we could hear conversation in the next room without even trying.

After driving all day---this was a great hotel at which to land. Check-in was friendly and easy. The room was clean, up-to-date with the design well thought out which made it very comfortable. Fitness room was good---good equipment and enough of it. Needs a little cosmetic lift. I really enjoyed staying there--and will be back when I have to make the drive again. The other reviews encouraged me to choose this hotel and they were right!

I was really impressed with the hotel and staff. My check-in was efficient and friendly. The hotel was very clean and the room inviting. I would definitely stay again.

It was comfortable and the personell were very pleasant. [...]. Very quiet and peaceful. Good breakfast, nice swimming pool.

This is a well appointed and well run business traveller/family hotel. Very clean.

This was our 2nd stay at this Hampton. The 1st was a few weeks ago for a bridal shower. We were treated so nicely, we booked for the wedding stay also

This was our 1st trip to Connecticut. Located right off I-84 so it was was easy to get to. Always prefer Hampton because of above average cleanliness, helpful staff and convenient locations. We are returning to this same location in August. Just a good place to stay and above average amentities.

This was a stopover on a longer trip to visit family. Great room and wonderful breakfast!

For our conference needs, this was a great location, with a very reasonable price and amenities. We were only there for one night, but would definitely consider this hotel and of course, this chain, again in the future.
