Went to a wedding at the near-by Ryder Farm. Hotel was clean and the staff did their jobs.

this was a fine hotel for the road traveler or quick family overnight

We were in town for a family wedding and wanted something close to the venue. It was perfect for the location next to the highway with a Starbucks in the shopping mall next door.

Just off of exit 2. Hard to miss. Exactly what you want when you are looking for a place to stay for resting only. Room was clean and well kept, no issues there. Just a little discoloration from what looked like former mold that had been very well scrubbed. Had a pool, and workout room. Nice enough, clean but nothing special. Also had an on site restaurant. We had the all you can eat breakfast buffet that didn't really had everything they said. You have to order up the items that actually make it worth buying the buffet, and they got my order wrong. Tasty enough though. Room had a nice overall layout, and had a lot of little things to help make you comfortable. Would have given this higher, but the bed is one of those adjustable firmness mattresses, that doesn't breathe (woke up with the half on the mattress covered in sweat multiple times) and I just couldn't get comfy. Some may enjoy that, and it is what they said was there so if you like it then you should sleep well. I didn't. Staff was overall friendly, and made me feel welcome. Housekeeping knocked on the door at 9:30 to come clean the room (woke us up, we had a late night at a wedding). Checkout was at 12. Front office staff seemed pretty annoyed with them when I told them about it, which tells me the cleaning staff did it before. Overall, for what we were looking for (a comfortable place to sleep) we might have gotten better at a 2 star hotel, but it's about what you expect out of a reputable 3-star hotel. I would recommend this room as long as you like those mattresses that don't breathe well but are O.K. otherwise. It was about as breathable as a less breathable memory foam (I don't do well on those either) but not as comfy.

nice facilities, especially the pool and whirlpool. Your room was nice, with the djustable mattresses in the beds, however one side of the bed that not a just. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again it's a very good value at $100 a night.

it was good stay is always is. we stay there every year for function. it is Close to mall

Just returned from a 2 night stay while attending a continuing ed training at the hotel. Nice, clean, tastefully decorated hotel. Staff was extremely friendly, personable, and helpful. I especially liked sitting outside near the gas fire pit near the lobby/restaurant. The location is just off the highway but in a nice, seemingly quietlocation. Great to have a Starbucks and Trader Joes within walking distance.

the beds were way to hard, had to sleep on pillows. coffee pot did not work, so they brought anther one it did not work either. the nght stand table-lamp shot sparks from the swtch and had to be replaced. they made it a smoke free property, yet they allow 50 drunks to roam the halls to all hours of the night. would rather deal with smokers than drunks. need to make it an alcohol free property. the pool bottom was a bit dirty. have been stayng here several tmes a year for ten years now, and each tme gets a lttle worse. thnk this wll be the last time.

I check in late and when i entered the room, its smell funky, and I looked at the bed and there's hair allover the bed sheet,. It was disgusting, you can tell they didn't change the sheet

Very nice hotel and a super value - we'll stay there again! Breakfast is not complimentary - but if you are tired of the typical chain hotel breakfast buffet and the attendant waffle-station chaos, smoke, and mess, then you will find their elegant breakfast buffet a delight worth the extra $10.

They were very accommodating. We needed an early check in and they had one ready for us.

Nice hotel, decent on site breakfast.Very easy on and off the highway. Starbucks and small strip mall is only 300 yards away. Good facilities for small meetings, exercise room.

Hotel was nice, staff was friendly and accomodating. Only drawback is the severe noise caused by the elevator. Do whatever you can to be as far away from them as possible. The motor noise and vibrations apparently follow the beams within the infrastructure and even being 4 rooms away, all I heard most of the night was the cars running. Otherwise, super easy location right of I-84.

Dirty Room because no one came to clean it although I left it vacant for more than 6 hours. I made the bed and took out the garbage myself. When I complained, maid showed up and told me to leave so she could clean (at 5PM). I kicked her out! Their reason was priceless: they were expecting lots of new guests and needed to get THEIR rooms ready.

we were very content

Friendly staff who are very accommodating. I have stayed there so many times, the staff recognizes me when I walk in the door.

Everything about this HGI was terrific except the TV channels. The card listed all the usual cable channel suspects (CNN, HLN, Food, etc.) but they came up as "channel not available" on the TV; NYC and Hartford channels were available. Amazingly the Weather Channel was not even listed on the card. The free coffee in the lobby was always available and quite good. Staff was very friendly and attentive, and the king bed was super comfortable.

Great experience

Very nice hotel clean & neat. The staff was friendly.

pool was to cold to swim in as it was only 78 degrees f. the Beds had some sort of small itchy bugs the bit us during the night. Staff was very friendly, our all experience was good.
