Unreasonably expensive for the quality of the room. Charging to hold luggage for an hour really drove it home.
It rained through the window in the room. The water was coming in through a seal the window and after pulling the curtains back to see where the water was coming in, we noticed that the window had been broken/cracked this is not where the water was coming in, and there had been tape placed over the big crack in the room. A safety hazard. The facilities was my major issue with the hotel.
Views were terrific.Room was very comfortable. Staff was friendly and most helpful. My wife says we are staying there again on our next trip to NY.
Very cool hotel! We had a corner room on the 18th floor with panoramic views of the city! Rooms are small (typical for nyc) but very well appointed. Bathroom was large with lots of extra towels. Bed was incredibly comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend this hotel!
Great hotel. Perfect location. Lots to do around the hotel.
My complaint is that I thought the corner room was like the picture shown on my confirmation. I was truly disappointed. Is that the Hotel doing that or is it Orbitz? Maybe it should show a picture of the room you are booking or no picture at all. Again I was very disappointed by this—I travel very little and maybe just not aware of how things are done—I felt duped.
Great location for Cooper Square. Small rooms but otherwise excellent
Booked this room for a weekend away at the city. Pros: The hotel is close to everything one might need — cafes, food, bars, shops. It’s in a good location that didn’t feel too touristy too! Close to mass transit. Cons: no coffee pot or microwave in the room, mini-bar in hotel room outrageously over priced but had some nice items.
Cute hotel with friendly staff. We had a king size bed on the 5th floor that didn't have a view - just of the side of a brick building. Rooms are clean and small, but that's expected in NYC. I'd probably stay there again for a lower price or try out their other one in Chelsea.
Overall great experience. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Room was on the small side, but very nice and comfortable. Would absolutely stay again.
Went to the city to view an awesome Movie "Too Late". Found great places to eat and drink. It was right around the corner from McSorley's Ale House which everyone should experience. Walked from the East Village to the West Village. Some construction in front of hotel but otherwise fantastic. Very friendly and helpful staff. I'd stay again!
