Residence Inn by Marriott New York Manhattan/Times Square

It was really good price and very well located in New York!

Hotel is convenient to Times Square and Bryant Park. Nice restaurants and coffee shops nearby. We thought we would use the kitchen in the room more, but since the hotel offers a nice breakfast with coffee, it wasn't really necessary. We were out and about all day, so ate out and did not return to make meals. We were on the 14th floor and could hear the traffic pretty well at night (if you're a light sleeper).

Not sure I will ever stay at another non-Residence Inn hotel. This was our second stay, the first was in DC a few years ago. With the free breakfast, the kitchenette, great beds and location, the value is just unbeatable.

Had a great time. Enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Great location.

The hotel staff was incredible and the location was central to everything. My only complaint is that breakfast did not serve bacon and the beds were not comfy at all. However, everything else was perfect! I would suggest they invest in memory foam mattress pads to improve the sleep of their customers.

Excellent place to stay , but has some roaches in the bathroom.

I stayed at this hotel with my 12 year old son for an extended weekend. The room was very clean. The breakfast was fantastic! Very impressed with the selection of food and there was ample seating despite the large amount of guests, it was never difficult to find a place to sit. We love the location, just steps from the Bryant Park subway station. And it is close to, but not in Times Square, meaning you don't have to fight the crowd every time you leave the hotel, but can get there within 5 minutes of walking. The staff were always friendly and helpful. My only suggestion for the hotel is that they consider installing softer door closes. The doors shut/slam so loudly that in the nighttime that you can hear every door closing on the floor. It's a small thing but I think it would be nice. Other that that it was a fantastic hotel and we were very pleased!

Hotel is within walking distance of Penn Station and the Port Authority. Staff is very professional and responsive. One of four elevators was out and this caused some delays in getting to and from the twenty-first floor. Thermostat was not working in the room when we arrived but that was quickly fixed.

The design of my room has been well thought-out for people staying for longer periods, who may need more than just a bed to sleep in and a shower. The kitchenette is just enough, and there is some separate space for different activities, so that the bed isn't the focal point in the room. The whole building is very clean, and the amenities are great, even with the hotel offering some limited free grocery shopping. My only bad experience so far was not being able to get change from the machine in the laundry room, but the front desk accommodated me that way quickly.

Excellent location, room size larger than avg NY Staff very helpful.. Don't miss breakfast!

This hotel is convenient to Times Square and mid town without being in the middle of Times Square, right across the street from beautiful Bryant Park, which I love. It was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly. It is a busy location and I was happy to see security in the lobby in the evenings since it was on such a busy corner.

The rooms in this hotel were larger than I expected for NYC. Full Kitchenette, Good sized shower room, had a great view of the empire state building. Breakfast was included and pretty good, looked better than it tasted but still the fact that it was included was great.

I finally took my daughter on a fun trip to New York this weekend. It was great, everything was nice and clean and it was so close to everything we wanted to see. The only downside was the staff. As a gold rewards member I've been to many Marriotts where the staff was much more warm and accommodating. Other than that I'd recommend it to everyone.

Excellent staff, great comfort, solid location, coupled with a wonderful complimentary hot breakfast.

Staff was very accommodating, valet parking was clutch. Front desk made my stay very easy during a rush business trip. Breakfast provided was also a nice touch

Great location and good room size. The hotel was a little dark but otherwise is clean. Very expensive to park $66 per night, and can't take your car out. Will stay again.

Fair value for a room near Times Square. Please be aware this hotel is not directly on Times Square , but a few short blocks from it. Room was clean, free breakfast. Staff was efficient. We did arrive at the hotel early, before our room was ready. They told us they would call when it was cleaned and ready to check in, they never did.

Everything was great, location, staff, and complementary breakfast. As far as the valet parking, I was a little disappointed. It was not made clear on how it worked. I had to pay for my car twice in the same day which became very expensive. I have visited other hotels in NYC and the valet service works different. Other than that it was perfect!!

I haven't stayed at a ton of hotels in NYC but this one was by far the best! Huge hotel rooms with kitchenette, large breakfast, and very close to Times Square! Best part was that this hotel was half the price of other hotels we've stayed at in NYC. Highly recommend!

Nice Empire State view, 10 minutes walk New York penn station. Subway in one block.
