NYLO New York City

4.0 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

Nylo NYC was a pleasant experience. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was clean, the floor was quiet, and the area was safe. The bed was SUPER comfortable. Tons of restaurants to choose from and close to several subway lines--Starbucks was only two blocks away! No complaints. I gave 4 stars because the room terrace leaked into the room after a storm (small flood), my room needed more than one chair, and fitness equipment was a bit dated. I would stay here again.

Room smelled like smoke at first but we opened the window and it got a little better

Large space; good condition; new bath; soft bed that was comfortable; big TV; good hot water. All you need.

It's was a great experience for me to stay in that hotel for a weekend for my fourth weeding and wife birthday

Nice, room a little small, felt safe, nice lobby, comfortable bed, nice shower Wish the room had a little refrigerator.

This was a nice hotel with a nice bar and sitting area in lobby. Hotel staff was very courteous and helpful.

This hotel is in a good location, with alot of shops/restaurants/bars all around and in a walking distance. In fact there’s a CVS just across the hotel. Also, central park is just 7 min away walking, and Time Square is about 15 min.

Great room and bathroom. Just what I needed. Clean, modern, great lighting. Great location. Quiet. Great lobby.

The staff was friendly. The hotel felt a bit too dark. And I’ve been to other NYLO hotels in different cities. But this one felt dingy. Hallways were extremely dark. They only had one ice machine that took forever to spit out ice and it was in the sketchiest looking room over ever been in. Just felt weird. Wouldn’t come back but the location is fine.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Convenient location.

This hotel is for anyone who wants to stay in a place that is not conventional. It has a funky lobby and bar. The specialty drinks are very expensive, so be sure to look at the prices before ordering.

Hotel was clean and great location close to Lincoln Center. However the internet was spotty for days and they shut off the hot water for an entire day. Seems this hotel has seen its best days behind it. Lets not forget about the outrageous $35.57 resort fee.

Charming hotel, great location, fun, funky bar, clean rooms, well-appointed. Friendly, helpful staff.

Charge for complementary drinks never had any charge for complementary Wi-Fi complementary equals free charge of fitness room never used it

Great location, staff very helpful. Suite was spacious. Cool, Danish-style furniture.

Staff was great. NYLO is close to many attractions and great places to eat. Loved being able to walk over to Central Park.

If you want to stay on the Upper West Side this hotel is your best option. Our room was small but very comfortable. The bed was amazing. The staff was very accommodating. This is my third time staying at the NYLO and I have enjoyed each visit

Great overall experience, only issue was my dink did not drain.

Outstanding staff! Nicely decorated, clean rooms. Good amenities throughout home.

After delayed flights and arriving at the hotel at midnight they told me they didn't have my rooms. I booked through Orbitz, paid full rate in advance, had confirmation numbers, and the manager said there was nothing he can do. The other employee later told me they overbook rooms to deal with no shows. Terrible customer service. Do not book! Location is also bad. Cost me $40 Uber to get near time square.

Dear Dave, Great to hear that our location was a good fit for you, but I really regret that your overall experience fell short. We always want our guests to feel at home, so I'm sorry that you found our ambiance to be unwelcoming. I would appreciate the chance to connect with you directly so I can better understand how we could have made you more comfortable. We hope you'll consider giving us another try next time you're in New York. Warm regards, Connie
