The staff was friendly. The hotel felt a bit too dark. And I’ve been to other NYLO hotels in different cities. But this one felt dingy. Hallways were extremely dark. They only had one ice machine that took forever to spit out ice and it was in the sketchiest looking room over ever been in. Just felt weird. Wouldn’t come back but the location is fine.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Convenient location.

This hotel is for anyone who wants to stay in a place that is not conventional. It has a funky lobby and bar. The specialty drinks are very expensive, so be sure to look at the prices before ordering.

Hotel was clean and great location close to Lincoln Center. However the internet was spotty for days and they shut off the hot water for an entire day. Seems this hotel has seen its best days behind it. Lets not forget about the outrageous $35.57 resort fee.

Charming hotel, great location, fun, funky bar, clean rooms, well-appointed. Friendly, helpful staff.

Charge for complementary drinks never had any charge for complementary Wi-Fi complementary equals free charge of fitness room never used it

Great location, staff very helpful. Suite was spacious. Cool, Danish-style furniture.

Staff was great. NYLO is close to many attractions and great places to eat. Loved being able to walk over to Central Park.

If you want to stay on the Upper West Side this hotel is your best option. Our room was small but very comfortable. The bed was amazing. The staff was very accommodating. This is my third time staying at the NYLO and I have enjoyed each visit

Great overall experience, only issue was my dink did not drain.

Outstanding staff! Nicely decorated, clean rooms. Good amenities throughout home.

After delayed flights and arriving at the hotel at midnight they told me they didn't have my rooms. I booked through Orbitz, paid full rate in advance, had confirmation numbers, and the manager said there was nothing he can do. The other employee later told me they overbook rooms to deal with no shows. Terrible customer service. Do not book! Location is also bad. Cost me $40 Uber to get near time square.

The NYLO has a great location - very close to the subway, Central Park, the Natural History Museum. Lots of good restaurants nearby. The staff was very helpful, and my room was rather nice.

First stay at this hotel. Very helpful staff and clean room

There are steps up to the reception and the doorman isn't alway there to welcome. It is a very dreary and depressing decor. Housekeeping parked the cart in front of the elevator for most of my stay. This is my second time staying here and now it's looking worn in the lobby. The location is the only reason I would return.

The rooms were large and spacious for New York. It was easy to get around and the staff were grea

Good location. Rooms are reasonable size though expensive House keeping is average, reasonable choice of restaurants close by Overall nothing great but reasonable satisfying exper9ence

unannounced extra $28 charge for wyfi and "complimentary" drinks neither requested nor desired. Coffee machine did not work, poor response to problem

Loved the hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful stay. Our only complaint was lack of storage in the bedroom and bathroom and no instructions for where to get ice (which is too hard to find), any room service offerings, or suggestions of what is nearby. The only thing we found was some information online when we were signing onto the WiFi service. However, once that screen clears, we couldn't figure out how to get back to it. There needs to be a booklet with everything in it.

Loved the location of hotel, great neighborhood and convenient to central park and subway. Room was not great. Was not clean at all. Still had an old chewed on dog toy in the corner. Bathroom was NOT clean, I'd share pictures, but they are disgusting. Coffee bar in room was not properly stocked, only gave me green tea, no coffee and no cups. Called to get coffee (twice) and no one ever showed. Pretty disappointing for almost $400 per night.

Dear Jeff, Great to hear you enjoyed our Upper West Side location. However, I’m so sorry about the WiFi. We know how important it is to stay connected, especially while traveling. I apologize for the water as well. Although the shutoff was required by the city for regular maintenance, we understand this was an inconvenience, and we thank you for your patience. We certainly understand your frustration regarding the daily surcharge too, but please know that we try to offer our guests more value by including WiFi, bottled water, and other services in the urban fee rather than charging incremental fees that tend to add up. We would love to have the chance to welcome you back to make this right and earn your confidence in the future. Warm regards, Connie
