Wonderful; we will be staying here again the next time we visit New Orleans.

The bartender at the Desire Oyster Bar was nasty. She was rude and should not be working in the service industry if that is how she is going to conduct herself. Everything else at the hotel was great and would stay there again. The place was clean and the rest of the staff was friendly and helpful.

Great hotel. Calm. In the center of everything. Revolution is the best restaurant around.

check in is at 4, or so they say...arrived at 3:45, my check-in was confirmed for 3:30 through Orbitz...was told my room was being cleaned and it would be ten minutes...at 4:15 I was told my room was being cleaned and it would be ten minutes...at 4:30 I was told my room was being cleaned and it would be ten minutes...at 4:45 I TOLD them to give me a room...they tried to act like they were doing a favor by upgrading me to a bourbon street balcony room, although I reserved a normal, queen bed room...DO NOT EVER, EVER take a bourbon street balcony room...the first night there was drinking until 5, garbage trucks at 6, and music at 8:30...I'll never stay here again but if you want to risk it, DO NOT let them talk you into a bourbon street balcony room...the closet door was broken along with the bathroom door...a mirror each behind 2 lamps, that makes sense...I walked down to get my pelicans courtside seat wristband cut off so I could save it...what 4 star hotel reception desk doesn't have scissors, royal sonesta doesn't which was consistent to the service I'd received so far, so the security guard kindly did it for me because he's equipped for his job...just bad all around...so much for a vacation...should of went with my gut and what I know, Drury Inn...live and learn

The hotel is situated right in the heart of the French Quarters. Great vibe, people, and staff. Love Cee the pool area and the hotel was very chic.

The room was beautiful, clean and very comfy. The hotel location is ideal and places I wanted to visit were not far from the hotel and the staff are very professional. The concierge booked my activities, and I had lots of fun. The hotel’s amenities are fantastic as well as it’s restaurants. I would stay there again.

The courtyard and pool area were very nice, we enjoyed sitting at the outside pool bar. Also, a big shout out to the employees in the Desire Oyster Bar and Restaurant. They went above and beyond to make our experience great. The food was also very good.

Loved that it is right on Bourbon Street in heart of French Quarter. Staff were courteous and helpful without any exceptions, and doorman got us transportation we needed very quickly.

MALCOM and FRANKY GENE! Amazing Amazing Amazing! The beds were also amazing, best nights sleep Ive ever had.

Nice hotel on Burbon street with balcony. Convenient location. Has a award willing restaurant, oyster bar, jazz hall and more. Has convenient underground parking. Staff were friendly. One of the best hotels on Burbon St.

Great location. Excellent staff and rooms. Beautiful courtyard and pool. Request a courtyard room if you don't want the street music and drumming until 3:00 am during the week and 6:00 am on Saturday. Convenient to all French Quarter restaurants, shops and bars.

Awesome staff, everyone was very accommodating. Proximity to Bourbon st was convenient yet surprisingly still quiet and comforting when inside hotel room. Would highly recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Location is excellent nice facility highly recommend

Stayed here during Mardi Gras, great location with entrance right in the middle of the action, once in the hotel it was quiet and peaceful

I am accustomed to staying at upscale hotels. I expect small luxuries like slippers and bath robes. The Royal Sonesta provided neither. They were very stingy with the toiletries. Thank goodness I took my own Dove soap. The room and bathroom were very small. The view was terrible because the window was so small. The maid did not clean my room the second day even though it was almost 3:00 p.m. when I returned. I saw her in the hall and asked if she would please clean my room. She told me she already cleaned it. I told her she had not cleaned it. I asked the head of housekeeping to please have my room cleaned. That got immediate results. The valet parking attendants were great, very courteous and professional. I do not understand why I was charged a security fee.The hotel is in a very good location. The courtyard is nice. However, I think I will choose a different hotel for my next trip to New Orleans. Oh, $125 is a bit exorbitant to throw beads from the balcony.

We stayed 3 nights on Bourbon to get the feel of Mardi Gras. Great view but wished we could have had a window to open. That said, the sound barrier was awesome for sleeping. May try a balcony room next time.

Location loacation location. Room is clean staff friendly and located on the craziest street ever. Love it 👍

Great location- beautiful decor- and surprising quiet for being on bourbon street

Our room was not ready when we arrived early. Ms. A gave us an upgraded room and complimentary champagne to drink while we waited. The location was excelllent, right in the middle of all the entertainment and restaurants. Everything was within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again.

Hotel staff did not advise us during check in about a water boil advisory for New Orleans. They though it was better to leave a note in the room in a location that was difficult to find. The note stated not to drink the water or use the water to brush your teeth. Well a little too late once we noticed the note on our third day. Unfortunately I was unlucky and wound up getting an ear infection which I believe was caused by this. Room was dirty. Sheets dirty. Staff was rude. Bad location for a family. Overall would not recommend.

Dear Guest, We greatly appreciate guest feedback as it helps us to discover what is most loved about our hotel and how we might have elevated your stay even further. While we are happy that we were able to upgrade your accommodations so that you could enjoy a front row seat to all the sights and sounds of New Orleans, we regret that this was not quite what you were looking for during your recent getaway. Although we trust that our team would have been able to resolve this concern as soon as we were made aware, we regret that you were left with the impression that your comfort was not our top priority. We would love the opportunity to share a much more cherished experience with you and invite you to join us again in the months ahead as we are certain that we can share a stay that will capture your heart in full. Best Regards, Royal Sonesta New Orleans
