Staff not very accommodating. Check in process unorganized.

Was great experience. Nice breakfast everyday. Good staff very help[full

Usually Hamptons are excellent. Not this one this time.

Breakfast was great with lots of options. The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was kind of noisy with the heat kicking on and off. However, I would stay again. Great location right off I-95. The gym was small but met my needs.

But the staff was very helpful and had great customer service.

Weekend trip for a family bridal shower. The hotel very very convenient, directly off the highway. Very nice town to stay at with nice restaurant and bars. I did not have the free breakfast so I cannot comment on that. The only negative comment I have is although the room was clean there was a very musty smell to the room.

We loved this hotel! It was super convenient, right off 95 - easy on and easy off. The front desk staff was really friendly and efficient. And the room was beautiful and clean. And it smelled dry and fresh, an important thing for me! We got a great price, too. We'll be back!

I decided to try this Hampton in in Milford after staying 3 times in the West Haven Hampton in just 4 exists to the north on 95. Price quoted was $30 cheaper for the Milford Hampton Inn. I would say the hotel is fine but you do notice the slight degradation in quality over the North/West haven Hampton in. The one good thing is there seems to be it has adequate parking. The West Haven Hampton does not and I have had to park next door a few times. Anyone visiting Yale regularly knows the New Haven area is not all that great so not having adequate parking is a bit of a concern. My first impression of the Milford Hampton inn was it was LOUD, there was so much commotion in the entry area, I had difficulty hearing the person at the check in desk. I also noticed the lack of cookies (which have become spoiled and expect to now find at all Hampton Inn's when I check-in) The noice became even more of a concern when I found my room was only 6 doors away from the front desk. However I was quite relieved to find the inside of the room very quite. Actually more quite than the West Haven Hampton Inn, which has considerable road noise. The room is a step down however. Everything from a lack of USB chargers at the bed (a nice feature at other Hampton Inns) to water damage in the ceiling of the bathroom, to the lack of refrigerator and a smaller selection at the free breakfast. Still I would say the overall quality is better than what you would find at a Quality Inn - and at $89 - the price is extremely competitive with that other hotel brand. Summary when looking at Hotels within 15 min of Yale and trying to keep the price around $100- when traveling on my own I think this hotel provides more than adequate comfort. When bringing my wife I will spend the extra $30 and stay in West Haven (also about 5 min closer to New Haven)

Good hotel. Usually stay at Shelton Hampton Inn. Milford Hampton rooms smaller and older. Great staff.

The hotel generally is good. The room is clean and the staffs are friendly, such as Ms. Olimbie. However, the facilities in the hotel look old and a little bit annoying noise sometime in the room

Was a nice Hotel, very clean and extremely helpful staff, I would stay here again.

Only needed a hotel for one night.. Room was clean.. Had a nice shower, bed was comfortable great tv

Everything about the stay was exactly what I expected. No complaints on any of that. However, after booking the room on line and requesting a non smoking room, I was told there were no non-smoking rooms available when I checked in. I guess the entire floor was a smoking floor. The smoke smell was strong.

The wonderful stay began with a warm greeting at the front desk from a very hospitable woman. She was very accommodating from the beginning and after several minutes of arriving in our room she actually called to make sure that we were pleased with our accommodations. Thatt set the stay off on a nice pase. The room and facility appeared clean, the breakfast was delicious and checkout was smooth without any bumps. I would definitely utilize your services again!

The room was very comfortable. A request to change rooms was handled promptly and courteously. The room change was necessitated because there was a group of people playing some type of game which generated lots of noise and laughter from the participants. I would definitely stay here again.

I checked in on time, and was greeted with a friendly face. I had asked if I could get a room that was reasonably close, as I am handicapped and didn't want to go all the way down a hallway, as I have done in other hotels numerous times. The clerk looked up what he had, and moments later said "No Problem Sir!". I only stayed one night, and didn't take advantage of all that Hampton Inn had to offer; but still had a pleasant stay nonetheless.

Stop here on way north all the time. Really easy on/off from 95. Wasn't as clean as my last visit, but staff very professional and friendly.

Very good experience, very pleasant and friendly staff.

This was a good hotel with clean rooms and a great breakfast. I would gladly stay there again. My only suggestion is to get the Wall Street Journal instead of USA Today.

Room was clean, staff was friendly and the price was great. Will be staying there again over the next year and would recommend it to fellow travellers.
