Nice place, a little out of the way, but OK. Inside pool was nice, but rooms bordering it had to wait until 10:00 for peace and quite.

Room was dirty. Hotel in disrepair. Paint stains on curtains and bedding. Front door did not work and elevator had carpet over broken tiles. Tried to change hotels even though our room was non refundable but due to Garth Brooks and Rodeo all hotels were booked. We left early!

A good hotel for the price. Breakfast is what to expect. They don't charge for pets, which is great. No problems here.

As soon as we arrived, we could see the entire hotel was under construction and they had the entire floor torn apart in the lobby. The 2 women at the front desk were very nice, but our "non-smoking" room reeked of smoke and had blue toothpaste smeared all over the bathroom door. The floors had no carpet and we're filthy. The swimming pool was green and needless to say we ended up checking out shortly after arriving. The ladies at the front desk were very polite about the whole thing. I really wish the website had mentioned all of the construction going on.

I've had to change rooms multiple times. I needed to be well rested however i had to move three times. 1st room had the over powering odor of sewer and the smell of natural gas. 2nd room had dried vomit on the air conditioning unit. It's been there for a while because it's really caked on. The elevator is out of service. I'm on the 3rd floor and i can barely use the stairs due to my bad knees and back issues. Oh and the hotel is under construction so there is big mess on the first floor. I wish i had heeded the warnings from The bad reviews

Out dated, poor room facilities, dirty restroom. Needed to be cleaned.

This Red Roof Inn seemed to have paper thin walls, with no insulation. We spend the first night on an inside room facing the pool, and it was a little difficult to relax and sleep when a family was enjoying the pool until 10pm, when their voice carried through the walls as if they were in the room with me. We moved to an outside room for the second night and I woke up a few times by people talking outside the building talking. I do not consider myself a light sleeper, so again I believe it is because the walls are so thin I can hear them (almost) as if they were in the room with me. Other than that and the weak wifi signal in the outside room were my only dissatisfaction. Understand I consider myself very low key, and easily satisfied, but with the way the sound carries through the walls, I probably will never stay here again.

When I went to check in I could not find the registration desk. After walking around the hotel I found someone at the pool bar and she told me that is also where you in. She and another lady were completely rude to me and seemed annoyed that I was there. Elevators did not work. The stairwells were indoors and poorly lit and were also accessible to anyone outside because the door lock was broken. This is not in the best part of town so I was very aware of my surroundings the entire time. Some of the glass had been busted out of one of the exit doors. Rooms had been updated to an extent but the floors in my room weren't swept from the previous guest stay. They do have wifi but it only worked half of the time. The whole place reeked of a stench that I cannot describe.

The bathrooms were filthy. Not sure what was on both the toilet and tub. Noisy all night. Cops were banging on the door across from us at 2:00 in the morning. Instead of a box of Kleenex their was a pack of pocket Kleenex. The same paper cup I had used one night was there after they had cleaned the room. The marching band started their practice at 7:00am on the Saturday morning we stayed. Don't stay here!

When we stayed, we were looking for a place to mainly sleep and get ready the next day. We did not spend much time there during the day. The place was going through some renovations. The building and room looks old- old carpeting, windows, walls, etc. It seems that it is a smoking facility so there is the smell of smoke in room and other areas. The bathroom was clean with plenty of towels. Our room was comfortable and so was the bed- plenty of pillows and blankets. We slept good. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was good- waffles, biscuits and gravy, juice, cereal, to start. We had a good stay.

As a business owner I hate to say negative things to hurt someones business Im just answering this so the hotel will get better.I surly wouldn't go for pool.inside building/water very hot.always getting woke up with slamming room doors and loud guests.I got that place because of pool for kids wich we could only tolerate early mornings before extreme heat started rising

Staff wasn't pleasant and needs a better look carpet was wrinkled coming up from floor no seal and electrical was nothing working right in rooms. Besides the money really need a major remodel. Didn't have notice of reservation and would of been mote convue. So I don't know what else they can do but the pool is very nice and the elevator is jacked up

We booked a non-smoking room. Our first assigned room had been heavily smoked in, which will cost the previous occupant a $200 fine. 2nd room was much nicer, though when we woke-up the next morning, we found the outside wall to be wet and it had black mold growing on it. The indoor pool was quite nice and has great potential. There was a non-lit pool wall light fixture hanging in the water and when my wife went to push it back in, she received a shock. When we reported it to the front desk, they immediately closed the pool. The hotel "bar" does have snack food, though nothing serious for actual eating. It was very smoke-filled, and featured several pool tables ... not exactly a family setting. There is much reconstruction going-on in the first floor rooms. More needs to be done on the elevators, pool (spa was also not working), other rooms, etc. This hotel has tremendous potential, but needs some tender loving care. We reported the problems to the staff, and they were incredibly friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel, though only after some serious maintenance.

the rooms were not the cleanest the wifi never worked in the room

We have stayed at Red Roofs all over the country and have always been pleased. We have a pet and appreciate being able to travel with our dog and not have to pay nightly for a pet deposit or fee. This hotel is older. It does need work. That said, it appears they are working on floors one at a time. I think the part we stayed in was already redone. Clearly not a 5 star but unlike the other reviews our room was clean, no issues with the bed or carpet. The hotel is all enclosed like a conference usually is and we looked out on that area. The noise was a little louder than some hotels but I attributed that to the fact that we were looking out on the general hotel lobby area. The continental breakfast was quite nice compared to other hotels we have stayed. This was probably due to the fact it was manned full-time by a staff member cleaning and replenishing. We did not go to the pool but saw many people using it. It was large and looked nice.

This place doesn't look like the pictures on line. The room was very dirty, we had to switch rooms due to how unclean the ours was!

Bedding seemed to be ages old, toilet ran all night, air cond wall unit sounded like a jet taking off, front desk couldn't care less about issues, overall only stayed here because everything else was sold out due to Texas Tech parent's weekend and hardly worth 138 per night.

Staff friendly, helpful and rooms cold. Lots of options and happy I chose this site.

The hotel was great. The thing that can improve is the pressure of water in the shower and a fan cause the bathroom got too steamy.

Room was clean. We really enjoyed the indoor pool after a long day of being out n about. Love breakfast which consisted of many items. I had the Texas shaped waffles , scrambled eggs and sausage. Excellent price and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

Thank you for your review of our hotel. We are so glad that you had a nice stay, and enjoyed our complimentary amenities and rainforest themed swimming pool. Its a popular attraction especially during the summer! The indoor rooms are always in high demand due to their view and easy of accessibility to the pool. During your future visits, please let us know your preference and we will do our best to accommodate your request. Thank you.
