Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach Resort & Spa - All Inclusive

4.5 out of 5.0

I loved the size of the property. Huge property with lots of places to eat. Either buffet, reservations or for a fee. Choice is yours. We did all-inclusive and reservation. I went with my daughter and didn't have a chance to do as much as i wanted to do because she's 6. But i will be back (got a condo while out there during one of the presentations). Friendly courteous staff. Nice views. Good food. Golf cart to transport from place to place (24hrs) no complaints.

This is a beautiful resort with amazing views. The food was excellent. We loved being able to order a la carte items and having them brought to you at the pool. The staff were all very friendly and helpful except for an intial hiccup at check in. We were told no more queen bed rooms were available even though that is what we booked. They did make it right though and upgraded us to a larger suite. Our only other complaint is that sometimes it was hard to find a chair at the pool.

Pros: Property is beautifully kept. Multiple restaurants as well as room service (which I did not use/ can't comment) included in the all-inclusive package. Food was overall good. The restaurants not included in the all-inclusive (Frida's, $30 pp/ per meal) had better, more modern options. There are multiple pools, tennis courts, a pretty decent gym (free weights, nautilus, 5 treadmills, a few bikes, yoga mats, foam rollers, bosu ball). Any off-site trip can be coordinated through the hotel, with pick-up outside the front of the hotel. Staff friendly/ helpful. Rooms clean, comfortable bed w/ multiple pillow options. Cons: My biggest: you cannot even put your feet in the ocean. Security near tackled me, got quite aggressive, kept asking my room number, for just having the water touch my feet. I realized swimming was not allowed (because of the strong Pacific ocean currents), but quite frankly, this rule was excessive and ticked me off. Had I known, I would not have stayed here. Next, the property is HUGE, and either you should be ready to walk a LOT, or call for a golf cart (read:tips) to get you where you want to go. Definitely NOT a property for someone with bad knees or who doesn't walk much. Worked fine for me, but my 70's parents would not have survived this place. As with many Mexico properties, be prepared to be hassled a lot about timeshares, extra trips, etc. I find it extremely annoying but it's not unique to this place.

Although this is a large property, it is easy to get around on the golf carts. The pools are beautiful and nothing beats the sunset views

The views were amazing!!! The staff was very friendly and would do anything to accommodate your requests. The cart drivers were fun to ride with and always smiling.

Food- some places was terrible, some places were very good. Service - some was terrible, most was good. extra cost for better dining- terrible. better mapping of the grounds would have been helpful. better schedule of things going on and more things to do for all ages. way to pushy on the time share sales. our room was awesome, room service was awesome

Pools, food, and staff werr great. I wish there werr more carts for transportation. Tricky with the paths and maybe it would cause more issues but i stood around for a while more times then not to get uphill or walked. Not a terrible thing but sometimes inconvient. I would still stay there again as the overall experience was excellent!

The ocean view. Restaurant food was amazing. Staff knows English and very friendly.

We enjoyed our stay at the resort because of the massive amount of food options as well as drink selection. The price is very good for the overall quality you receive. It is a very upscale looking resort with a high level of cleanliness. Pros: - Bartenders are amazing and take the time to get to know you if you speak with them - Cart drivers do their best to get you to your location very promptly! - Waiters/Waittresses are all very courteous and try to help all they can - lots of food options and 24/7 Room service including pizza! - Staff are top notch in every aspect - great views from every room - Tazuna Restaurant is great! Sushi is made on the spot and is wonderfully fresh. - the market is beautiful, with many food options for every mood! - The After Bartenders are great and make sure your drinks are always full! -Priviacy on the beach is wonderful - Beautiful skypool, with amazing views - massive property, lots to see Cons: - The average guest was in their 50’s-70’s - Music was never really played loud enough to energize guests except during water aerobics. - Music was definitely catered to the older demographic. - Many people place their items on pool chairs and don’t arrive for hours - Not many activies for younger groups or couples. - Lots of good well crafted food options but nothing stands out that is absolutely amazing. Except maybe the “Extra Charge” restaurants/items. - No swimming on the beach, the pacific side is dangerous

Great food, wonderful staff! Awesome time🤗 comfy beds, great activities!

My room was upgraded. All inclusive with no surprise charges. Great staff and facility. Food choices in the La Nao buffet could be more varied on a day to day basis. Will return.

Great place to stay. Took the kids and my parents. We had a wonderful time. The resort is clean and all the staff is super friendly.

The experience was horrible, I will never stay here again. Everything about it was terrible and I was extremely unsatisfied. Every meal took forever due to poor service, food was cold bland and at times uncooked. We were often told they were out of most items we chose on their menu. They had items that were and “extra charge” that didn’t say “extra charge” on the menu. Our rooms were cleaned once during our 5 day stay.. shops, restaurants, bars and cafes close much earlier than they say.. the manager did not do anything when we brought our concerns to him and the whole place smelled like a sewer. DO NOT STAY HERE.

The hotel was in beautiful area set into the mountains in Cabo. The number of choices of restaurants and All Inclusive were definitely worth it as well.

Beautiful resort. Staff was exceptional. Didn’t like that we had to sign for everything. We didn’t have to do it for other vacation all inclusives.

Thank you very much for taking the time to review us, we take our guests safety very seriously this is why we do not let anyone into the ocean, due to the roughness of the sea, but we would like to invite you to our sister hotel where you can swim safety in the ocean, we provide free shuttle round trip and goes every hour. We apologize for any inconvenience that we may have caused you, we hope you give us the opportunity to serve you anytime in the near future.
