Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach Resort & Spa - All Inclusive

If you're looking for an all-inclusive in Los Cabos, Sunset Beach should be your choice. The staff was extremely courteous and quick to respond to any requests. The food was great and the resort has numerous food options to choose from. Like many resorts in Los Cabos, entering the ocean is generally not allowed because of the strong Pacific Ocean currents. However, you can walk on the beach and there are multiple pools on the property including a kiddie pool. All of the rooms have ocean views and the views are amazing. The hotel is one of the farthest from downtown but there is a free shuttle service to the downtown sister property, Pueblo Bonito Rosé. Sunset is the nicer property and, with the exception of some of the more ridiculously expensive resorts, I doubt you'll find a nicer place to spend a week in Los Cabos, certainly not for the money. And food is expensive so you definitely want the all-inclusive package. I would definitely stay there again!

The place exceeded our expectations. The views of spectacular as week as the grounds. Wee truly enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be back

This is our fifth time visiting Pueblo Bonito Sunset beach resort and I have to say that they provide a consistent level of great service and high standards of food quality and I would not go anywhere else. The whole staff and amenities are just great. We loved our vacation and cannot wait to go back soon.

Rude staff with an attitude! All inclusive implies you are an animal. Outdated rooms, that's why they want to trap you with their (literally 100s of folks a day!!!) time share scheme. You end up financing their next multimillion $ facilities, while this one is in need of tons of repairs & updates!!! The pools are overcrowded and impossible to get into, despite several "empty" chairs which we were told are for "elite" members. Lol! They stayed empty the whole time. Very few restaurants! They claim the shuttle takes you around to the other resorts, what a joke! You are herded by the dozens into a virtually once a day bus from one place (ex Sunset to Rose/Blanco "resort"). We will NEVER EVER go back to this ridiculous facility. Stay away!!! You have been put on notice & warned. May the force be with you if you choose to ignore these heartfelt comments! Good luck! Lol!!!!!!

Once you are trapped on this outdated resort with an all inclusive band on your wrist, you are treated like a dog. The Market staff at the ice cream/crepe station are rude. It is amazing that the staff are not managed properly, they make sarcastic comments if you order 2-3 dishes, even though your kids are sitting at the table waiting for the food, which took on more than one occasion over 45 min to get! Do NOT go to the ridiculous time share (trap!) meetings! Rude staff and you are herded around like cattle! Stay away!!!!!!

Very nice for a family with the all inclusive plan. Easy to get food without any hassles.

The number one reason I went to Mexico is to be on the beach (not pool!) with my 2 yr old son. Instead i had to spend time with drunk underage kids at downtown Los Cabos. We had to take shuttle to Pueblo Bonito"sister" hotel "Rose". The shuttle was full most of the time, had to purchase tickets in advance total nonsense! 20 min each way was taken out of my vacartion.. paid for taxi instead.

It was amazing...one I will never forget! It was absolutely beautiful! We got bumped up to a Presidential Suite which worked out great for the 5 of us girls. We experienced most of the different pools and went to town for one of the days. We all felt safe in town and visited a lot of the different stores. It was great how the resort supplied the shuttle to one of the sister resorts that was walking distance to town. The convenience of being able to have meals or drinks at any of the sister resorts made it that much more sweeter!!

When we arrived at Pueblo Bonita Sunset we were informed that our reservation had been cancelled. I had booked my reservation in October the previous year and it was the end of February the next year when we were checking in. Apparently, they had overbooked and cancelled any reservations made through Orbitz and Expedia. There were several other customers at the desk at the same time with the same problem. The hotel was not at all helpful in assisting us find alternative accommodations. They said we had to deal directly with Orbitz.

Timeshare resort. Nothing is close, you have to take a golf cart everywhere you go. All inclusive but you have to sign a check for everything. Very inconvenient

Great resort, staff was friendly, great views of pacific, quiet for adults, grounds Super clean.

Like having accessibility to their other locations. They give horrible travel directions to and from airport.

LOVE this hotel want to come back! Views don't get better, staff extremely helpful, rooms are huge and beautiful!

Cannot use beach No place or activities for kids Pushy sales staff to buy a timeshare Too far to walk everywhere so you have to call for golf carts No nighttime entertainment Restaurants are average

The Sunset Beach was everything we had hoped it would be. The resort property is beautiful. Built on the hillside so lots of views from the entire property. Although the property is on a steep hillside the golf cart shuttles were ALWAYS available and helpful. The dining options were very good. The only complaint was the wifi service was spotty and not reliable.

Horrible service. 40-60 minutes waiting time to get table

We stayed here for 10 days. It is a very beautiful resort and if we had children or were older people it would be great. But us being active it is way too far away from anything to do..there are alot of pools because you can't use the beach except for pics and walking so the pools are very busy at all times. You have to take a golf cart everywhere you go in the resort..the pool, restaurants, lobby, I mean everywhere or you are walking literally up hills they are very steep. It's good for you but for some it's not good. The food is good and the staff is EXCELLENT!!!! Taxi's are required to go into town for all your activities unless you set it up with your tour group. The rooms are nice with great views but the lights are so ANNOYING!!! They are on timers in the shower, in the toliet and in the closets and they go off and on while you are in there.

Nice relaxing place. Nice staff. Need more frequent shuttle rides going to town. Check in process is too slow. Didn't got the room we booked but they upgraded room next day so I was happy. No hidden charges. WiFi is not good but we understand because of location. Beautiful, nice and clean place. I f you like to do ocean activity It's too far from the town. Only place ocean activities you can do is near town area. This is place to relax.

Good: amazing view of the beach, rooms were spacious w balcony and kitchenette,The new Market place included in all inclusive, friendly staff. Bad: bedding is too small for a queen, pillows didn't smell fresh, bad dinner buffet option, had to pay extra for canopy beds, some restaurants had extra fee to eat, beach was rocky and not swimmable and u had to pay to use the computer to print stuff. The Ugly: getting hassled by too many time share sales people we didn't know who to trust if their trying to help us get around or there's motive to sell us an appointment. The airport was packed with people pretending to assist you with travel arrangement only to force u to attend a sale pitch and they are rude when u say no.

We found the bar staff standing around not wanting to help you at all. We tipped well and still had to hunt down service.
