Great hotel, good restaurants inside hotel and very helpful associates

BEWARE... I'd avoid the Palms until the construction is done. The whole place is under massive construction. We had to move rooms because the workers were banging hammers right above our room from 7am to 7pm. The staff was super helpful and nice to relocate us. With a few exceptions, none of the bars or restaurants are open. The pool is closed too. You are only able to use the Palms Place pool, and its mehh at best. Unless they drop the $37 nightly "resort fee", we won't be back until the construction is over. Dont forget... Free parking too!

The only inconvenience was the ongoing construction that woke us up at 0630 am.

Terrible shower & non draining sink. Called to fix it but no one fixed it. To top that jack hammering started early morning at 6:00 AM right above our floor!! Who wants to be awake at 6:00 AM after late night at a casino?? Complained at front desk upon check out and they waived the resort fee!! That was a nice gesture. Do not recommend until construction and updating of rooms is complete!!

Don't stay at this hotel until construction is complete. It's a nightmare and the staff is rude and not understanding or accomodating.

This was my third stay at the Palms since Nov 2016. I did NOT know that there was extensive construction going on at the hotel. Facilities and restaurants that I liked and used were no longer there. The pool and fitness center were closed and the alternative was the pool and fitness center at a companion property a mile (it felt like it was a mile away). Staff were unsympathetic. The worst was the ear-splitting testing of the emergency alarm system while I was at lunch in a restaurant in the building and then at breakfast in the same restaurant the next day. It was loud enough to actually to hurt my ears but I couldn't leave. Conversation was impossible. Constant construction noise from the outside and the "beeping" of heavy equipment. Difficulty in moving around the outer foyer(?) i.e. where you are picked up and dropped off due to construction and equip. I do not believe the "resort fee" should be charged under these circumstances.

Loved this hotel! We would stay there again! It was off the strip and easy to get too! It was clean and the staff welcoming! My only complaint was the bed wasn’t that soft but it worked!

The front desk staff was horrible and don’t know how to do their job

Great hotel! Love the fact the restaurants and casino on the main floor.

Check in was not very friendly, casino dealer was in-inviting and unfriendly. Could not find the lucky penny restaraunt, I think it was closed due to construction. asked for one bed room, got one with two. Room was clean and good other than that.

So many cunstructions going on in and around the hotel and i think both orbitz and the hotel should informed tye customers. Our room amenities was bare minimal to nothing. No coffee maker in the room . I would stay elsewhere.

This is the first time I have ever reviewed anything. The hotel room was beautiful but the bathroom needed some “work” the water wasn’t going down the drain in the shower. The water was overflowing. The bathroom doors didn’t close (it was the design)... wack! The bathroom floors were slippery. I almost felled twice.

We stayed I the Ivory Tower, little did we know our Saturday would not be spent resting ,but listening to the pounding of construction all day.... Not once did anyone at check in mention or give us notice, really what was supposed to be our "relaxation day, turned into a horrible migraine.... I really wish we would have been notified of the construction we were going to endure during our stay

We booked this hotel thinking it would be a nice stay due to the great reviews...WRONG IDEA! We arrived to the sound of construction everywhere! (We booked through orbitz and we did not see it stated ANYWHERE that there was construction). We check in and get to our room (descent) but there are spots of gunk on the walls that haven't been cleaned off which was a little disturbing. We just want to relax so we say let's go to the pool! We go down to ask where the pool is and the manager informs us that the pool area is also under construction. What!! That's the main place we spend all our time during vacation! The manager said we can use the spa (for an additional $25 per person per day)! This is the epitome of BAD management! Next we went to the buffet for lunch...HORRIBLE! Honestly I didn't find 1 thing I liked. I literally had it with this hotel at this point. We would have been happy, had management been nicer and maybe comped the spa for us so we could enjoy ourselves or SOMETHING, but no...my husband has managed multiple high end hotels/restaurants in NYC and he couldn't believe how the management acted. Very low class hotel and I would highly recommend staying elsewhere (even though it is more expensive)! This place RUINED our trip and we will never recommend them to any of our employees when they go to vegas...so disappointed.

They are in the middle of a large construction project. A bit of a pain to get to our room, but comfortable.

Room was through private owner so can’t complain about hotel but owner of the room definitely needs to take better care of their room.

first off the ac did not work, old tub and shower not impressed i used to love this place but not anymore

I like the Palms Hotel and have stayed here before. I was not aware that it was under remodeling. It was a nice room this time but before, in the front tower, it was phenomenal.

Only problem we had why were they remodeling during Christmas and New Years It made it so difficult to get around The new Buffett they opened was wonderful

Perfect place for a solo trip to Vegas. Although the hotel was under renovation at the time of my stay, it didn't deter my enjoyment of the hotel. There were lots of food options and the room service was surprisingly affordable with great food options. The room service is reason enough to justify my next stay at the Palms
