You shouldn’t charge every guest for parking. Not all guest have a car or they drove with others. This should be asked at check in and not assumed at check in.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights the other weekend and it was clean, which is my number one requirement. However, our room was next to the electrical room and it was very loud and woke us every morning around 5 AM with a weird humming noise. Also, the room was a little bit snug.

The property was your basic chain but clean. Unfortunately the hot tub and fire pits did not work because of a broken heating element. I specifically booked this hotel for the hot tub and it would have been nice to know ahead of time or to receive a credit for a portion of our stay. The same goes for the “breakfast included” option on Expedia. This hotel is combined with spring hill suites, which has a free buffet but the courtyard did not offer a buffet. To eat at the cafe in the lobby for 3 people at breakfast was over $50 a day and there is nothing to walk to until after 11:00. I think this is more an Expedia issue, not the hotels fault. Just know the two properties are connected as one property but you do NOT get breakfast at the courtyard.

Great location! Just a walk across the street to beach and short drive to downtown Fernandina Beach. Brand new Marriott so fresh and clean. Very comfortable bed. Nice pool but hot tub heater not working. Convenient and good breakfast.

This location the courtyard, Marriott side was a complete nightmare. I would not recommend this venue to anyone. There are too many things to list about the inconsideration for anyone that is handicapped, the rooms had hair all over them, one roll of toilet paper, front desk, staff unwilling to assist with anything and don’t use your American Express card because they charge you a fee and failed to mention that.

Conveniently located. 5 minute-ish drive got us to downtown. Able to walk to the beach and a couple of restaurants/bars. Our first impression was made by a very kind gentleman who made us aware we were in the wrong area of the hotel to check in where our reservation was, but he walked us in the direction of where we needed to be and that stood out to us.(There are 2 hotels in one building) It is very evident those working in custodial/grounds keeping roles take pride in what they do. Can't wait to get back to Amelia Island it was the perfect weekend getaway for a couple of almost 40 year olds. Would definitely stay here again.

Great place walkable to everything. Room clean, staff courteous. The doors to rooms slam very loud as people come back to their rooms at 2am. Noticed a gap in the seal of the door so this could have been cause for some of the noise level. The balcony was awesome. Overall very comfortable.
