Hotel was beautiful. Parking is valet only which was unexpected because it was $15.00/night. It worked out because we were only there for a tournament so we took their shuttle to and from the convention center. Shuttle was first come, first serve - so wait til ran from 5 mins to 30 mins. (one time it did take right at 1 hour). Very accommodating when the room next to us got loud, they moved us to a different room on a different level with no questions or fuss. The restaurant within the hotel, Edgars Hermano was amazing. Food was wonderful, staff was amazing, super clean. We ate their three times.

Every member of the staff we encountered in this hotel was extremely friendly and helpful. It's an older property, but very well refurbished. The bathroom was on the smallish side, but had a walk in shower that was wonderful.

Most amazing staff & hotel in Houston. Part & Parcel staff outstanding. Favorite bartender ever, Adam!! Wouldn't stay any where else!! Rooms were clean and room service was on point!! Hotel restaurant food was awesome as well.

So, me and 4 girlfriends stayed at this hotel for a girls weekend for my birthday. The hotel was beautiful (which is why it got 4 stars) and rooms were big. However, we had quite a few problems staying there. I booked through TripAdvisor, and booked a two-double bed room. When we got there they said that I booked a king sized bed room. I showed them my receipt and they did eventually get me into a double bed room. However, it took about an hour of getting there until we got it. They only had one elevator and it took FOREVER to get to the bottom floor and vice-versa. We had to wait for the elevator at least 15-20 minutes almost every time we needed it. I'm not sure if they actually only have one or if the other one was broken, but it took FOREVER. The floors were hardwood (which I like) and while we were getting ready, I guess the air conditioner was dripping water and I went to fix a party decoration my friends set up, that had fallen down, and I actually slipped and fell to the ground. Luckily I wasn't in my heels yet! Anyway, they came and fixed it once we left for dinner. Also, they only had valet parking, which I do not particularly like. So just a heads up, because we thought it was optional! Overall, it's not like the stay ruined our night, and they were very accommodating. In fact, I'd probably stay there again. I just hope next time it goes much smoother.

Good location if you are working in downtown, but downtown is pretty quiet and uninteresting outside of business hours. Facilities are ok, pool area is old and really needs a renovation. Room was clean and tidy, but sound isolation is pretty average and you can hear neighbours and noise in hallway. Not a big problem but worth mentioning. Bar at street is very nice and has a great atmosphere.

I found the Whitehall by location and price, however, it turned out to be a better find than I expected. My wife and I wanted a downtown Houston location to go to a ball game at Minute Maid park. The staff welcomed us and gave us a room on the top floor. The room had hard wood flooring. The area rugs kept it from feeling cold. Only negative-no room fridge. The hotel pool (outside) was clean and relaxing for easy lap swims. The hotel restaurants were reasonable and inviting. The staff was really nice offering directions and a shuttle to anywhere downtown. You pay for parking which seems to be standard in downtown. It was a great stay !

First time staying at this property the help at the front desk fromLibby was just incredible she was friendly and so helpful would stay at this property again .Rooms are very nice bathroom on the small side. But the service makes it all great will stay here again

A friend scheduled a party at the pool for his son's 2nd birthday. Unfortunately, it rained but the staff accommodated a move indoors to one of the conference rooms. Great time and what awesome service!

I had a great stay at this hotel. Very friendly staff and helpful. The restaurant was very good and clean.I enjoyed the pool and the gym. It's also near a lot bars and restaurants in the midtown area. Good place to stay if you are in Houston.

I walked in to make a reservation and was told it would be $$$ a night. The desk clerk recommended a place down the street that he felt would better accommodate my needs (cheaper). So we went to the MARRIOTT MARQUIS..... (Not the desk clerks recommended location.) THE MARRIOTT has been fabulous!!!!
