Hotel perfectly located downtown Houston. Great room. Very friendly staff, the bartender Marcos was one of my favorite but also libby, the receptionist, is awesome. Breakfast is really good and if you don't want to go out for dinner, you can have a great meal at the second Floor. I liked it a lot.

We stayed at the Whitehall for a family wedding. We were so impressed with the hotel! Sal, the manager, runs an amazing establishment! From the front desk to the valet to room service we had every need met quickly and politely. I am not a fan of down pillows- no problem! They brought me a foam pillow! We forgot some basics, they ran us up shaving cream, razors etc The bridesmaids got ready in the presidential suite and we had space for our hair and make up lady to set up with ample room for everyone to get dressed and primped. The location of the hotel made it a breeze to get around to great places to eat and things to do. The ramp for 45 was only a block away- easy on, easy off! They offered a super shuttle to local places as well as one for the airports. We live outside the city and will keep this gem at the top of our staycation list and for out of town guests!

I had stayed at this hotel many years ago when it was a Crowne Plaza and I must say that the new "white" look is beautiful! The inside is just as nice as the outside with a more modern look, very fitting for downtown Houston. Our room was very spacious and the housekeeping staff did a great job of keeping the hotel looking very clean. The location is very convenient to Midtown and Buffalo Bayou Park. Great job and I look forward to a return visit!

Amazing hotel all the way around...The makeover is elegant and classy. The staff's level of professionalism and customer service is second to none...From Mo and Steve in valet, to Nikoli and Tate at the front desk, to John and Yemi at the restaurant, to numerous housekeeping needs throughout our wedding weekend, the staff was patient, kind and proactive to our needs and wants. They took care of the wedding party like we were family. 5 Star rating is not high enough! The fact that the downtown location was minutes away from all of our destinations was just added bonus!

What an awesome staff at The Whitehall! I was in town for two events and the hotel was so convenient for commuting. Just a few steps away from downtown Houston and all that it has to offer! I needed a late check out Saturday and Carmen was so helpful and accommodating. The room was clean and comfy with a great view of the city! On my last day, I asked the concierge Johnny to watch my bag while I ran across the street to take a photo at the cool wing exhibit. I was going to take a selfie so imagine my surprise when I looked up and he had ran across the street in a suit on a warm day to help me capture the perfect pose! Excellent customer service!

We stayed at the Whitehall for a family wedding in the downtown area. The staff was most helpful and very pleasant. We had two meals at the restaurant Edgar Hermano. We had two children with us who were picky eaters but both meals were excellent and enjoyed by all. Thank you.

I stayed at the Whitehall for an education conference and it was just blocks from where I lived downtown between 2008-2011. Excellent service and affable staff. The room was clean, spacious, and had a pretty good view of the Houston skyline (I was on the 12th floor). Houston is a city with a gorgeous downtown area, lots of restaurants, if not as hustle bustle as many other cities its size. This is an advantage. I returned from bar hopping in the Montrose district and was a bit restless and enjoyed an hour or so, just walking around mid-morning taking photos of the #artblockshou and other scenic wonders. It didn't hurt that it was a cool and breezy night, but the walk and experience at the hotel did wonders for me. The staff were always accommodating and helpful. It's an experience I'll definitely consider when back for personal reasons. I didn't rent a car but none of my Uber rides to neighboring areas were more than a 6 or 7 dollars. Theater district, jazz in 3rd ward, Montrose area... all within a short distance.

So far, we have stayed one of our two nights. To sum it up, the staff is amazing, the rooms are cozy but comfortable, room service is great and the convenience of the location is awesome! Now the long version 🙂 When we arrived, the gentleman at the front desk congratulated us on our 3rd wedding anniversary and offered complimentary champagne or breakfast. We took the breakfast! It was delicious! Last night, we took the very convenient courtesy shuttle with Biku--he is both the valet and shuttle driver and is very polite and helpful! He even took us by CVS first to get a toiletry that we had forgotten! Iris made our reservation at Sambuca and they gave us a $10.00 off coupon, which was great! She was very informed and let us know who was playing there that evening. It was an amazing jazz band and we had a blast. We slept really well and had breakfast in bed in the morning. After breakfast I spoke with Johnny and he was a pleasure to talk to! He offered some great advice on what to do that day within walking distance. I think I'm going to take him up on his advice for the day! All I can say is, sometimes the stay is all about the people, and everyone there was so pleasant and helpful! They made our anniversary wonderful!

Friendly staff, clean hotel and good value for a one night stay before flying out. Edgars Hermano, the on site restaurant had very good food, tasty with a tex-mex theme and the coffee was nice too. I'm not sure what the location was like as we were only here one night.

Love this hotel! Great front desk staff-- Tate is amazing and really focuses on the customer experience. He also remembers repeat visitors by name. Rooms and bed are comfortable and clean. Love the classic spiral staircase. Nice older hotel with modern flair. The customer service keeps my hubby and I coming back!
