Upon arrival/check-in I was met with a very rude and confrontational clerk. My room was not very clean. The shower was dirty, with strange hairs, and the room smelled badly.

Great Stay. Comfortable and clean. No complaints

Location was good friendly staff good area with eating place

Nice room, nice breakfast. Fitness center was closed.

The Black lady that check me in and check me out was professional courteous and an asset to this local business. The young man that was 2nd shift, I think he is Mexican was always helpful. The worst experience was I waited from 4 p.m. to 10pm for assistance with the business washing machine. I asked the 2nd shift relief desk clerk, a Black guy, he said he would contact me when the machine would be available, he never did. I checked on the machine many times. Several times, when I went to check,, I told the Black guy, that somebody's clothes was on top of the dryer, somebody's clothes was in the dryer and somebody's clothes was in the washer and that these clothes had been there for a long time. He said he could do nothing. After many checks, finally I could use the washer and later the dryer. Doing my clothes was very important to me because in the morning I would check out and go to airport. I went to check on my clothes now a little after 10pm, Shift change, and a White lady, that was regular front desk worker, was talking to the Black guy. I was waiting for elevator and overheard them talking about me. From that point on the White lady was not courteous. If I stay again in this hotel again, it will be because of the day shift Black lady and 2nd shift Mexican man- Very professional and a l in customer service..

The elevator made some weird noises(took the stairs the rest of the stay), but other than that the hotel was great for the price!

Reserved, and paid extra for a King Size bed. Arrived and said all they had were smoking rooms or they could give us a double. Who has smoking rooms anymore.they said we didn't request non-smoking (which wasn't an option I saw). I offered to pay more to get a king suite instead. They said smoking or a downgrade was my only option. I tried calling this website, but after an hour on hold I gave up and we took the downgraded room. The staff had many options to help an unhappy guest, who even offered to pay extra, but refused because "you booked it through a travel agency". Basically they bad mouthed the people who made the sale. They don't understand hospitality. Other than that it was a typical LQ experience, though they may have given me a bad taste for the brand for a while and for this website too after the long wait to talk to customer service. It's also a bit difficult to get to off of the side road if you're coming from I-10 east bound. I don't often leave negative reviews, but they earned one tonight.

Just what you need along the way. Hard by I-10, but our room was at the back. Many dining options within 0.2 miles, some within walking distance.

I thought the hotel was nice and in a great location to where i needed to be. the staff and room was great. The room was clean and a good sizes. Will stay there again

The hotel is average, it use to be the old Baymont Hotel. Our room was on the 4th floor way at the end. The door is hard to close and was open when we got back from our outing. The staff couldn't close it. The room was, as I remembered from the Baymont, very small. The carpeting had some sort of red drink spilled on it and apparently the cleaning hadn't noticed or plain old forgot to clean up. I'm going with "Not bothering to clean up" due to the french fries on the floor next to the refrigerator. However the beds were comfortable and the evening staff very nice.

It was really great, clean, and qu9iet.

overall it was a very good stay. No problems and room was comfortable.

I am so sorry for your experience. We have had to cut corners a lot over the last year due to Covid-19 but cleanliness of the rooms and the hotel are not an acceptable corner cutting area. I would love to get additional information regarding your experience. Please feel free to follow up with me at your convenience.
