Ramada Fort Lauderdale Airport/Cruise Port

Great stop between airport and cruise ship

Overnighted here and was delighted. 4:30 am check in no problem. Bell service at that hour for tons of bags. Fridge and microwave in room. Very quiet and clean and comfortable beds. Cheerful courtyard around pool and decent enough breakfast (eggs, sausage, waffles, oatmeal, fruit. Even free shuttle to cruise ship (stops running at 12:30 so we took an inexpensive Lyft from airport in the wee hours.

El Paseo

Excellent little gem!

At first I was concerned about the hotel's location right on Espanola way. But surprisingly. the rooms were very quiet and tucked into the building. The rooms were clean, beautiful and spacious. Will definitely stay there again.

Catalina Hotel & Beach Club

Nice night

We stayed one night to hang out on South Beach. Check-in is after 3. But they were able to accommodate us earlier. I paid for a third person in the room but then they didn't want to give them a beach chair etc. When I ask to speak to the manager they relented and gave us the Third persons amenities. Valet parking is $40. Biggest problem is it took almost an hour to get our car. Location is good to have a free drink happy hour from 7 to 8. We ate at Maxine's and it was good. Just a block to the beach and they provide Beach towels and chair rentals at the beach for free. Tip- park at the 16th Street public ramp $20 overnight and just walk the two blocks to hotel or use a lyft.
