Miami has mild winters. In January, temperatures average in the high 60s and rarely fall below 50 degrees Fahrenheit. During the summer months, temperatures range from the mid-70s to the high 80s. The rainy season begins in May and ends in mid-October, so the summertime heat is usually broken up by an afternoon thunderstorm.
