Cramped seats. I'm 6'2". I know that is fairly tall, but not unusually tall. When the seat in front of you reclines it is pretty uncomfortable.
Last plane was too small and too warm.

At the western tip of the Florida panhandle, just a few miles from the Alabama border, lies the pretty seaside town of Pensacola. Here there are all the beaches and bars you would expect from a Florida resort, and the party crowds during Spring Break, but this is Florida with a pinch of Deep South hospitality on top.
Pensacola has year-round sunshine so there is never a bad time to visit, but it does not offer the winter warmth of the resorts further south. Winters are short, but relatively cold by Floridan standards, with temperatures dropping to the low 40s.
Peak season begins with Spring Break season in March and April, and visitors flock to the city over the summer, when temperatures rise to 90°F, so plan well in advance if you want to grab Cheap Flights to Pensacola at these times.

Pensacola International Airport is the city’s main arrival point. Located just four miles north of downtown Pensacola and serving more than 1.5 million passengers a year, it offers nine car rental agencies and the choice of a shuttle bus or taxi into town.
Mobile Regional Airport is around 70 miles east of Pensacola over the border into Alabama. It’s an hour’s drive away and there are car rental facilities available here.
Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport is located inside Elgin Air Force Base, around 50 miles east of Pensacola. Small but well-appointed it has shops, restaurants and car hire operators.

Public transport options in Pensacola are limited. There is a bus service that can get you around the center, but it does not serve the entire city.
Taxis are available in Pensacola, and the rates are set by the city, so the fares should be consistent, but the best way to get around Pensacola and the region is by hire car. You can hire vehicles in the city or any of the three airports.
The National Museum of Naval Aviation has more than 4,000 exhibits, including 150 planes. Look out for the Blue Angels jet in the foyer. There are also flight simulators and an IMAX theater.
Overlooking Pensacola Bay is the historic Fort Barrancas. Built by the US in the 19th century it stands on the remains of earlier British and Spanish forts and is wonderfully preserved.
Head to the barrier island of Santa Rosa to relax on the white sands of Pensacola Beach. The spot is popular with locals as well as visitors. Here you will find the high-end hotels.
Pensacola is one of the wettest places east of Mississippi and renowned for its ‘popcorn showers’ which arrive from nowhere, drench you and then vanish. Make sure you pack your umbrella!
