This was our first visit to this hotel, and we were very impressed! Everything was so clean and fresh, and the service was outstanding. We had a two-bedroom suite which was nicely furnished, and the fact that it had two bathrooms was great for two women! It was a nice venue for a reunion and the hotel staff did a great job in both the set-up and the food and bar for a large crowd. We would definitely want to go back there.
We located this property online during a search for pet-friendly properties. We were able to reserve a suite on the day of the evening of our stay, even though many properties in the area were full or almost full. This property is immaculate, and the king suite in which we stayed was very well appointed.
Recommend strongly for business and families - great location for traveler on and north/south and a east/west interstate intersection- the staff were professional, friendly and the hotel is pet facility a must for us!
My wife and I travel every year for vacation at this hotel and have always had good experience, sadly this visit had some issues. Housekeeping missed cleaning our room for 3 of our nights stays. Also supplies not replenished in room. Evening meals very skimpy 1 night salad and a roll, full meals have been eliminated, used to be several years ago full dinners, have been told management has cut back quite a bit on amenities. Still a good hotel to stay at but can only give it a B grade this visit. Have spoken with manager about our experience as well
We truly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Finding a nice and clean smelling pet friendly hotel is difficult ... but this one certainly was perfect for us! We loved how it felt just like we were at home and our little dog was able to enjoy the more spacious suite and quieter features of the larger space. We will be staying here again!!
Took a long weekend trip and even though it was rainy, it was a nice relaxing stay. Always stay here when in the area. Will definitely be back the next time. I like the fact that pets are allowed and everyone is very accommodating.
The shower from 412 was dripping into the shower of my room 312. Requested a new room and was told that I would have to wait to switch rooms. I politely said that was not acceptable since my shower was not working properly since I was getting dripped on from the shower above, which is disgusting. Then the lady at the front desk moved me to a new room that was an upgrade, but this issue did not look like it was a new issue from the damage to my shower ceiling.
good service but not much to do It would be great if the hotel have bigger gem as well as more night fun areas The staff are very helpful but the internet is so bad and even you have to reconnect every day
This was our first experience with Homewood Suites & we really liked the room/hotel. It had a kitchenette, small dining area, sitting area with tv & a bedroom (separated by a door) with a tv also and a ceiling fan. We used the pool. There were unsupervised children that made that experience less than perfect, however, the pool is nice. This hotel also has a basketball court. Our room was near it & a person dribbling the ball is what woke us in the morning. The bed and pillows were perfect. We stayed Friday night till Saturday morning & the breakfast was completely wiped out. It was apparently understaffed as the food was not replaced & there were no clean dishes or silverware. Additionally, couldn't have found a seat if there had been food as it was totally packed. All of the common areas are clean & well appointed. Would still stay here again if I get a good price on the room.. Bob Evans is next door if there is no breakfast again.
This hotel is very nice, clean, rooms are spacious, equipped with a full kitchen and you could virtually leave all your toiletries and stuff to do your hair at home because everything is in the room. It's very convenient. However, upon check in there is a sign stating they hold your credit card with an additional 20% on top of your rate. This was not the case for us. They charged us 40% which is just crazy! The funds will not be released for about a week. This is highly inconvenient, especially when paying with a debit card. When we questioned the hotel attendant, he argued with us, telling us that our nlightly rate could fluctuate without us agreeing to the rate! I knew this was highly unlikely but we were getting no where with this employee. We stopped listening to this guy and immediately called Hilton Honors for resolution. They were not certain why the hold was so high because it should only be 20% but they assured us our rate was not going to fluctuate. We returned to the desk to ask him to reduce the hold rate but he just kept arguing with us about it so we finally walked away and decided to talk with a different employee in the morning. We love the Hilton family brand of hotels but this highly irrational employee wasted about 3 hours of our time and caused us aggravation. Not exactly what we wanted to do during our getaway. There was no manager on duty during this time to resolve this issue. As I'm typing this, I'm counting down the days until my 40% hold is released from the hotel. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again because it is a wonderful facility but I would pay with a credit card next time and so should you. To the manager of this hotel, you really should not have argumentative employees managing the front desk to handle customer issues... It could destroy the faith us customers place in your hotel.
