Everything is nice but the room was by an entrance and it smelled of smoke really bad even though non smoking room and bathroom smelled of pot. Disappointed for the $$ bit was too tired to go get another room

We usually stay at Country Inns & Suites properties on road trips & when we saw an availability at this one, we jumped at the chance. What a HUGE letdown! The property itself is very run-down and in the parking lot of a mall. At the entrance & lobby the floor is stained & looks dirty. The decor is best described as institutional minimalist & not welcoming at all. I understand that due to virus restrictions, certain amenities such as coffee, cookies, water, etc. is not available, but there was nothing else that made us want to stay. The staff were welcoming & friendly, & check-in was normal & uneventful. The hallway to the elevator was reminiscent of a hospital hallway & the elevator looked run-down & dirty. The room was OK. It looked clean but smelled slightly musty. The bed was comfortable. In the morning, when I wanted to make coffee, the coffee maker was missing the part that holds the filter pod in place & there was only one filter pod (we were two guests- reserved & checked in as two guests). Breakfast was HUGELY disappointing which I am guessing was due to virus restrictions, it was extremely limited, & I was still not able to get a cup of coffee. Finally the staff understood what I was talking about (not sure what the disconnect was) about the coffee maker & they gave us the part & plenty of coffee pods & at least we were able to get coffee. We opted not to stay the 2nd night for which we were reserved & even waived a refund, we just wanted to leave. So disappointing.

Staff was great. Grab and go breakfast was great. Thermostat in room was broke and stuck on 72.

Not a bad property, but could be much better with a little effort. Overall cleanliness was a bit disappointing; floors needed sweeping, dusting. Some outlets in the room were not operational. A hook was falling off the bathroom door. Some surfaces could use fresh paint. Breakfast was decent with plenty of choices and good coffee. The bed was comfortable, but the heating system loud. I powered off the heat in my room, but could still hear the system in the next room.

I always enjoy staying here. The front desk staff are very friendly rooms are always clean and nice. The breakfast is good.

I liked that our room was a true suite with a separate bedroom and a sitting area with a desk and 2nd TV.

It started with a bad first impression. The entrance is where the smoking area is located and was completely trashed. The place is dirty--floors had not been vacuumed or mopped. Door hinges were rusted. We had a suite and the fridge area was pretty beat up too. The place is in dire need of a facelift. Breakfast was the bright spot.

Was a very good location, next to mall and only minutes away from other shopping and eating places.

My room was the nicest room I have stayed in for a long time, it was very large, had a huge jacuzzi tub in the bedroom and really clean. The front desk girl was above and beyond helpful and nice. Will be staying here from now on when traveling to Hagerstown!!!!

This property exceeded our expectations, we highly recommend!

Room was dirty - paper wrappers on floor in corners, carpet not swept, refrigerator not wiped clean on the inside, couch pillows on the floor

The staff is excellent. We've stayed here twice and everyone has been great. I love that breakfast is served at 6am so we up

The staff were very nice and the room was perfect for my family with 3 kids. The suite allowed a nice play area for the kids, my only issue i really had was the parking, I was forced to park accross the street from the hotel and the bathroom was not clean which was probably a result from them rushing to turn over the room to accommodate my early check in.

Looks like the hotel was going thru an upgrade or partial renovations. Inside my room you could see three areas where pictures used to hang with holes in the walls that had not been filled.
