We booked the place at one price and it was a different price the second night. I have stayed at hotels all over the world it's one price when you book The breakfast was poor the turkey sausage was not fit for dogs Stay some place else
We enjoyed the stay but the bed was way too high for someone in a wheel Chair. Sad nothing to be changed related to no maintenance. It was hard getting my husband into the bed, It was very tall. He is in a WC 24/7 and cannot walk. I think other than the bed height the hotel was very good and would work for almost everyone. The pool was great.
Hagerstown was a halfway point stopover on our trip. Hotel was nice and clean. Staff was pleasant. Pantry store by the front desk offered milk, etc. Good location. Walked to a nice little pub style restaurant named Stone Wall that is located across the parking lot from the hotel.
Everything one expects a Springhill Suites to be. The check-in was super quick, staff was attentive, breakfast was great. The proximity to a mall was an unexpected surprise as we need a few things for the following day.
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Room was clean and cozy. Had USB outlets to charge phone. Plenty of clean towels in the bathroom. Paul Mitchell soaps and shampoos (kinda tiny though). Enjoyed my time in both the Pool and the Whirlpool spa. Wide variety for the complimentary breakfast and, as long as you're not expecting a fine dining experience, is enjoyable. I personally would have liked to see bacon but they offered coffee (decaf and regular), fresh fruit, scrambled eggs with toppings (see photo), turkey sausage, yogurt, OJ, two kinds of waffles, different teas, cereals, bagels, and more! Certainly pricey but they offered a little "market" area where you could buy snacks or meals and a variety of drinks from bottled water and iced coffee to wine and beer (see photo). They also had a coin-op laundry with 2 washers and 2 dryers. Would recommend!
Stayed here one night while traveling so I didn't experience the hotel much. The room was clean and neat. The staff was friendly. Outside of that I don't have too much say since it was a quick stay. If you need a decent place to say I would recommend it.
My family and I stayed here just one evening at the end of July 2017. The rooms are spacious and cozy, we utilized all the beds including the sofabed which was not great to sleep on but it was a teenager so he really did not complain a whole lot. Breakfast was good the next morning and the staff are friendly. Rooms are clean, and it was nice to have a little kitchenette with a sink, fridge and microwave. Had enough towels for everyone. We were pleased with the accommodation.
My wife, 2 sons and me stayed for one night. We liked how clean and modern the hotel looked. The room was spacious and spotless. The beds were firm, which I like, but the pillows were small and soft. That didn't make for a good combination. The room couldn't hold a steady temperature. I woke up a couple times and the room was hot or freezing cold. The fridge also wasn't very cold. The pool was nice. It was on the small side but I liked the water temp being slightly cool with all the humidity outside. The breakfast was a let down. The eggs looked and tasted like they were made from powder and the sausage wasn't appealing. There was a nice choice and wanted to try the waffles but it was very busy with girl softball teams also staying at the hotel. Not a bad stay, I guess I was just expecting alittle better.
Spent a week here on a business trip. Good hotel - my room was facing the back side so it was quiet. Near a mall so plenty of eateries nearby. The room itself was comfortable. Good breakfast options- though I ate there everyday, I was not bored. More choices than I have seen at some spring hill suites in other places. Small work out facility available.
Breakfast was the best thing about this hotel. The desk clerks are cute, but not very bright, and not very helpful. (we asked for recommendations of local restaurants, not chains, and the desk clerk was confused. She mentioned one local pizza place but gave us a menu for a different one. We looked on line at reviews, and the first one sounded better, so we just called and ordered from the internet). We paid $189 per night for a King bed Jacuzzi room (#511) The carpet was dirty looking carpet squares, like you would see in a commercial setting. It was the smallest king size bed I've ever seen. Only two of the six jets in the jacuzzi worked. When I said something at the desk, the desk clerk said "Sorry" a few times. Also, the pool was cold, the public jacuzzi was too hot, and there were dirty, wet towels all over the pool area. Kind of gross. It's been years since we stayed at a Marriott brand hotel. We've been staying mostly at Hilton for years. Now I know why. This was such a disappointment.
