The hotel is conveniently located at the north end of the Main Street strip through the beautiful downtown. We were able to walk to three business meetings with ease, and had several nearby restaurants that were easy to walk to.

Walkable to restaurants and bars. Parking available, no fee! Staff was pleasant!

Very friendly staff. Great location. Very clean and comfortable bed. Breakfast was good. Highly recommended for quality with a great price for it's location.

The location is at the top of busy mainstream section but very walkable. This makes it more affordable than the ones right in the throng. The room was nice size, bed was very comfy and the complimentary breakfast was best ever experienced. You had both healthy & decadent choices. They were also very generous with towels. Staff was very accommodating. Pool was refreshing.

I loved my stay here! The staff were so friendly and the continental breakfast was great! I was able to take a very short walk down to Bon Secours Wellness Arena for a concert I was seeing. Parking wasn't an issue and there wasn't any road noise that I could hear from the hotel. I did, however, hear people talking rather clearly through the walls at about 6 in the morning while I was trying to sleep which was annoying.. But the air conditioner would kick on and drown them out. I wasn't a big fan of the awkward shower head.. It would spray everywhere and I couldn't get it to sit in a way that would go straight down comfortably.. (It was a shower head that was meant to be held with your hand) but that's just me being picky. I'm going to be staying here again for another concert in a few months and honestly wouldn't want to stay anywhere else.

Good location for exploring Greenville, SC. Full complimentary breakfast, nice pool.

Fairly clean hotel. The staff late at night aren't super helpful, but they are nice. If the hotel is booked, they will run out of cots and extra comforters. We had an issue with our comforter not being clean so we requested a new one and they said they didn't have any extra.... Not real great answer.

Hotel is in a great location and has all the amenities needed.

Attended a wedding in downtown Greenville and this place was an economical and comfortable hotel to stay for the night. One issue is the limited parking. We wish the breakfast was better, mostly the powdered eggs!

Hotel was exactly what I was looking for to spend a couple of days in downtown. Hotel was clean and very affordable. We arrived a couple hours before check in time and were allowed to go up to our room as it was already available.

While traveling on business, i was glad to see how easy I could walk to restaurants and shops after a long day of work. Great location for the price, hotel could use some updating and tlc, but would stay again just for the location.

Breakfast was very good. Location was great you could walk to all the places downtown.

good location. walking distance to shopping and restaurants..

Good location, little expensive, bit walking distance to everything downtown.

The overall stay was ok. The pool was frezzing and we couldn't go swimming. Other then that everything was ok.

Hotel was nice. Staff was very friendly, room was clean and comfortable and location was decent walking distance to downtown restaurants. Would stay here again!

Easy walking distance to the shops and restaurants, while out of the busy-ness of it. Staff were very nice. We had a plumbing issue and they gave us another room to use. Breakfast had lots of choices, from cereal and sweet rolls to eggs and bacon to fruit and yogurt. Good coffee. And love that there is a fridge and microwave in the room!

Located right downtown on Main Street in Greenville, we picked the HI Express because it was the cheapest option of all the downtown hotels. For me, $130 (+/-) is a lot to spend for a night's sleep (location, location), but at least this felt like a $130/night hotel, with an oddly spacious, clean and like-new room, comfy mattress and great breakfast. They even have pillows labeled according to their different levels of firmness, which sealed it for me because I sleep with two different pillows at home. The Hampton Inn wanted $200; Express delivered a Hampton-quality experience for considerably less.

My husband and I visited Greenville for the 4th of July. We didn't realize it was such a huge celebration, and were thrilled with the location of our hotel in relation to the festivities. At the end of the main street, it's away from the crowds, but within walking distance to absolutely everything. The staff was sweet and the renovations were done only a month or two before, so everything felt clean and new. I wish the bed was a little bit more comfortable, but that's always subjective to each person. The breakfast was like typical hotel breakfasts....happily put food in our tummies, but nothing to write home about. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much and would go back again!
