A place to stay in Crescent City that ACTUALLY has an ocean view!

It had a great view and the rooms were big but for the price you pay per room it was not very well Maintained.

The pool/sauna are still closed due to Covid pandemic, we look forwar to the day they reopen.

Lots of bad reviews were left, not our experience. It was great for us and the view was amazing.

pet friendly was good. Restaurant was convenient . Breakfast was good.

We needed a motel/hotel that was pet friendly with a whirl pool tub. I guess i should have read the reviews and looked at other options because what other reviews said is completely true. First, off the room did not look like it had been cleaned. There was dog hair everywhere. When we went down stairs to let them know somehow my partner came upstairs with a vacuum. There were frozen ants in the freezer, dead bugs in the light fixtures, blood on the floor, hair in the blankets, chocolate on the comforter, hair balls floating in the whirlpool tub, and to top it off they only gave us a half a roll of toilet paper with no additional rolls. However, the view is amazing from the balcony.

The view cannot be beat. It’s a beautiful setting. There were ants in my room, not just a couple either. It was quite upsetting considering the cost.

Excellent view from our room of the rocky coastline and the lighthouse. However, the plumbing was noisy, the clock radio was unplugged, the remote was missing the battery door, the chair on the balcony was broken, The lobby furniture needs to be reupholstered or replaced, and it appeared that all the hotel staff were young and inexperienced.

Beautiful views of the ocean and walk out beach frontage . Great place to stay .

The rooms were filthy and the furniture absolutely battered. They would not refund us and we were moved 3 times to a room that was clean

👍

I had high hopes for this place. The price was incredibly high and comparable to the current price of a 3-star resort in Kauai. 1. The staff were friendly. They were obviously short-handed in the restaurant, but at least they were friendly. 2. The ocean view was great! When there was a view. The fog only lifted twice for a short time. 3. The lighthouse is within walking distance. 4. The room was obviously neglected and run-down. My girlfriend and myself only needed a king bed, but I think that those rooms are typically not well-kept as most people want the two queens. The TV remote was broken, the walls needed painting, the bathtub had an obvious spot where it had been patched where a large hole had been, the light in the entryway did not work, and the WiFi was so slow that it couldn't be used. I pulled open the curtain and the curtain rack fell down and I cut my finger on the bathroom door from a sharp edge it had. The bed was the worst bed I have ever slept on!!! I have slept in the cheapest motels and this one was the worst. It was very hard and the metal springs were painful. I had back pain for two days after being home. 5. The restaurant was expensive. I asked twice for a waffle that took an hour to arrive with only a few guests in there. The omelet was undercooked and the hashbrowns burned. The hot chocolate was basically brown water. 6. It was Noisy!!! Banging doors all night every night. Do yourself a favor and stay at any place but this one. It was awful.

The King hot-tub suite was big but disappointing. It was on the 1st floor in the corner with a view of a grassy dirt mound out the blood stained curtain. There were cobwebs on the walls and mold on the folding shower seat in the shower. The mattress was old and had a foam egg carton topper over it. For close to $300 I was expecting better. I asked to switch rooms for the second night but they were booked and refunded me and we left. Staff was nice and apologetic. I’m sure they are short staffed like everyone else but they definitely should get rid of the blood on the curtain regardless and charging that much money they could probably swing a new mattress and ditch the egg carton topper.

Very nice place wonderful view
