I did not like anything about the hotel. The bed is basically sleeping on a box. You couldn't use the elevator. The hallways were dirty. With stained carpets And dirty towels in the floor. The AC did not work in the room. You could hear literally every one in the hall. It was basically a ghetto club but you could stay the night.
Very good location, however rooms are not upto the mark and they require a lot of maintenance... Definitely much better options are available around the place..
The property need to be updated . Rooms are too dark. My toilet got stop up & I requested to be move to another room due to tiny bugs flying around in the first room .
I spent the weekend at this hotel. Saturday we were gone the entire day and came home around 11pm looking forward to a hot shower. When we walked in our room, we found that the maid never stepped foot in our room. Beds were not made and our dirty towels were still by the door. Understanding that it was probably a mistake, I called the front and the employee told me that it was a mistake. He said I could come and pick up towels from the front. I asked him nicely if he could bring them to our room and he said "No, that is not my job." I had to walk to the front to pick up the towels and there was popcorn spread out all over the lobby. This place is terrible. Do not waste your money!
The staff is awesome! Our stay has been so nice.
We actually reserved for non-smoking room as my spouse is asthmatic and easily gets exacerbation with the scent of cigars. We requested a change in room as the smell was really so bad. To our surprize, the staff answered as this way, " You paid for a budget inn and should be ready to occupy a budgeted place. We don't have control of the smell as people smoke even they are not allowed to. We have different customers who withstand the smell, even elderly, with asthma. This is what you paid for, and this is what you get" This is very unprofessional comment and definitely a non- customer friendly staff.
Had a wonderful time at American best hotel they're very nice in the place is Declan and cleaning this was wonderful thank you
This is my 2nd stay here. I enjoy staying here. There are a lot of restaurants and plaza around here. Location is safe, yet belt line can be very busy during rush hour. Also, rare emergency siren may wake you up middle of the night. One thing I do not like was staff service at the lobby, kinda not friendly. Breakfast is imply donuts and coffee. No more than that. Overall, it worth your money.
The only positive to this hotel was the location. The rooms were barely livable, and I didn't feel comfortable sleeping in the beds at all and there were stains in the sheets. The walls in the room were very worn down and the paint was peeling in several spots. I felt like I was in prison staying in that room. The "free continental breakfast" consisted of pastries nothing else, but free is free. The guy at the front desk had my information mixed up and took almost 40 minutes to check me in. I wouldn't stay again and I wouldn't recommend it either.
I stayed here just one night, it was good for the price. I got a nice one queen bed comes with a fridge and a freezer, the room was clean. The only thing, their wifi seems to run slow, I had some trouble connecting to the internet. On and off every 5 minutes or so. They had some free pastries to grab in the morning, which was nice!
Fine for a short stay. WiFi did not work in my room FREE breakfast is worthless but did not care.
Room was very clean and had all the basic amenities for the price. Hotel location was very convenient to a large variety of eating places. Staff was courteous and responsive to all inquires
It really sicks the staff is so rude they have no activities
This is one of many hotel rooms we have booked on this road trip and by far the best so far. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and very comfortable. The desk was a bonus to catch up on computer work, there was lots of hot water and the bed was very good. One small note...pillows could be upgraded and maybe more of them...2 get lost on a kingsize bed. Enjoyed our stay
It is conveniently located, close to great restaurants, shoping centers, and the galleria.
Very comfortable clean bed and room. Can't beat the price. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location excellent for our needs. Could improve on the toiletries and complementary breakfast...all we had was coffee. Will definately stay there again and plan to soon.
It was kind of old building. Not clean enough. The staff were friendly, though.
I stay at this hotel every time I'm in the area. It's always clean and in a great easy-to-access area near I35 and the Dallas North Tollway. The staff is a little rude sometimes (especially the men) but that's my only complaint. The rooms are comfortable with fridge and microwave.
We stay at this hotel every time I have appointments at the Texas Back Institute in Plano, which is only about 6 miles away. It is on Beltline Rd, surrounded by tons of GREAT restaurants and many other shops, including grocery stores, gas stations, and salons. The price is always great. The hotel is always clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone on a budget.
