Walkable to cool area with bars and restaurants. Very clean and new feeling decent breakfast set up. Kids and parents both enjoyed the stay.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. We will definitely stay again!!!

The hotel is in the Vista area of Columbia and very close to USC's campus (not walking distance for most people, but a quick easy drive). Clean rooms and good breakfast (included in room price) were some of the best features. We had a great visit and this was a good location to stay for a reasonable price.

This was our 3rd stay at this hotel for a swim meet. Check in is always quick and easy; rooms are spacious; breakfast was hot and ready before the regular time, which was great for all the swimmers at the hotel. Cons: nowhere to hang towels in the bathroom; rooms aren't very soundproof--we could hear doors banging on our hall all night; they have the old school air conditioners that click on and off all night--no option to just let the fan run.

I had no issues with the room; however, when I was checking in I was told that not only do they have a Mastercard on file (I do not own a Mastercard), but they were showing that I had not already paid. Luckily I printed the receipt and brought it with me because I can't afford to pay twice! It worked out fine, but it worries me for future use of a traveling site rather than making the reservation directly with the hotel.

Pleasantly surprised how clean and new the hotel is. We were driving through en route to Charleston and wanted a cheap but decent hotel in Columbia for the night that was close to some good restaurants. Ultimately this hotel is sort of in the corner of the Vista, but the big free parking lot made it well worth it. Even going to dinner in Five Points was a breeze. If we went back to Columbia, we'd probably stay here again.

We wanted to see the historic area of Columbia and this motel was within walking distance. The staff was very friendly and made excellent recommendations regarding places to eat and things to do. Wish they had a hot tub/whirlpool.

We've stayed a number of times here, and the location is perfect when visiting our son at school. Easy access to the Vista for entertainment, and only a short distance to campus.

I have stayed at this hotel many times in the past....I usually love my stay here...I love the decor...and the beautiful open lobby....however, this stay was unusually disappointing. There were 2 large groups staying at the hotel....people were congregated in the lobby, talking so loudly that I could barely hear to check in....water from the swimming pool was everywhere...in the lobby...hallways...and elevators....Finally, when I arrived in my room it had an odor and the toilet would not flush properly....Again, I'm usually a fan of this hotel....but this stay was very disappointing.

Excellent experience. In town for a wedding downtown with some bar hopping afterward. Location is perfect as it is in walking distance of the Vista. Beds incredibly comfortable. Room clean. Friendly staff. Ample parking. Indoor pool and gym available. Typical breakfast, but tasty. Highly recommend.

clean and modern with comfortable bedding and breakfast in the morning great place to stay

Room was very clean & nice. Not your average hotel room - looks recently remodeled & has contemporary look. Very quiet & staff was friendly. Good breakfast buffet. Would definitely stay here again!

Ok hotel, great staff, however, on my floor locksmith had to replace a lock at midnight. Didn't get any sleep with the drilling all night!

Great location easy to get to. Comfortable room plenty of space

The hotel was very clean and had great service. We took advantage of the complimentary breakfast buffet and it was great. The location is perfect because it is right next to the University of South Carolina and it is also in the Vista.

Near the nightlife of Columbia. Walking distance. Perfect to celebrate New Years. Modern feel to the room. The way they designed the room they absolutely maxiumized every inch of space.

Very helpfull front desk staff. Business traveler looking for good local restaurants. Modern room in european style

Nice place & different decore...it was great.

Columbia,SC is the hidden jewel of the south and this great hotel is in the heart of theVista where the food and environment is terrific. This modern facility is immaculate and very nice. We would definitely stay again.

New with European Look Class act in all aspect. Most confortable Beds, Plasma TV and seperate dress and shower areas. Will try to always book at this hotel when in Columbia
