I usually love staying at this location for our yearly convention. However, lack of planning on their part there is EXTREMELY LOUD construction going on from 8am to 6pm making it impossible to sleep in, talk and enjoy eating the extremely overpriced average food in the courtyard because it’s so loud, they’ve blocked off the bar area, fitness center and you can’t “walk to the loop” which is famously one of the best parts of try convention. But they certainly didn’t cut pricing back! Nearly $1,000 for two nights. Check in supposed to be at 4pm, we arrived after 6pm and were told our room isn’t ready and they don’t know when it will be?!?! Wow. The sink leaked and we had to use close to all our towels to clean it up and the bathtub plug didn’t work so no bath which I love to relax and take after being on my feet at convention all day. No apologies, no discounts, just less service. Now the remodel is definitely very nice, beds comfy and room super clean but I expected more for being sooooo expensive. The hotel sells out each year but they jack the price up triple and take advantage. Do better Embassy!
