This is a quaint property that is right in the middle of many shops (Barnes and Noble, Target, Kohls, etc). Sadly, it is very run down. We had to switch rooms upon check-in as the first room we were given the window was broken, couldn't close and had no screen. There were cracks in the paint the ought the building, old doors, old carpeting definitely a place to stay just for sleeping. Worked for us as we checked in at 9pm and had to check out at 8am due to a competition my son was participating in.
Rooms were outdated. Cracked tiles in bathroom. Shower fixture was old and very hard to get temp of water correct. Towels were very small. Place had a funny sweaty type of smell. Hot tub was not working.
The bed was not made. Towels not changed. Room was not cleaned, garbage was not removed. Also to have to wait until 3:30 pm to register was pretty inconvenient.

We stayed in several hotels in Vermont. This hotel was the most expensive. And the place is a dump. Old and run down needs lots of up keep. The room was really dirty.
Motel feel and looks like the sixties. No elevator! Very small outdated bathroom.
Water in shower doesnt drain fast.
This place desperately needs to be updated. Many stains on carpets, everything was very outdated, old and dirty.
Stayed here with my mother and her rott for a 6:00 AM flight out of BTV. This was the closest/cheapest pet friendly hotel. It was great. We had a picnic dinner in the rain at the covered picnic table. Slept well. Lots of hot water, almost too much. Left at 4:45 AM.
Very solid. But an older hotel which needs some refurbishing. E.g. carpets
This place needs to be gutted and completely redone. Toilets and tubs are at LEAST 30 years old. Exposed plumbing under sink which is directly next to room door. Good if you are solo and just need sleep. Horrible if you are traveling with companion or family.

We checked in late for a 4:30 am checkout. We were given a phone number for a taxi to the airport. The phone number went to voicemail and was full. A text message went unanswered. Luckily, we were able to book the only Uber driver operating at that hour by scheduling it in advance. However we had no confirmation that there would actually be a driver for us when we woke up at 4:15 am. If you have an early flight, it is very risky staying at this hotel, as there may not be reliable transportant to the airport. Be very careful.
