Great stay except for the beds. The free cookies, water and soda made up for it though. Very pleasant staff all around.

Best motel on our trip to 5 states. Only thing I would suggest is a sign when coming off interstate. It was hard to find and we would have missed it if I hadn't looked backwards.

Hotel looked brand new. Amazing layout. Free refreshments in the lobby. Great spacious room with parking close by.

The staff and rooms are wonderful. Highly recommend.

From the moment we entered the lobby we were greeted with warm smiles and friendly faces. Seamless check in process with hot coffee and snacks available. Lobby clean and free of clutter! We felt safe and comfortable.

When we arrived, we were greeted immediately. The Hotel personnel were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and cute. The only thing I would complain about is the lack of counter space in the bathroom. Other than that, it's 5 stars *****

Immediately greeted, and assisted with professionalism and kindness. Room was not ready, staff made repeated apologies, offered snacks and drinks and a place to sit and relax. Absolutely recommend.

Staff was warm and welcoming while explaining details of the stay. They made check in and check out very easy. The staff a breakfast was incredibly attentive to the buffet. Spotless! Also appreciated was the free water and small sodas at check in as we were parched from our day of hiking.

As I entered the building the front desk staff lifted their heads & acknowledged me!! Repeatedly apologized for my room not being ready even though it was after 3. It was ready about 10 minutes later. No elevator which was okay with me. There was coffee, hot cider, water, soft drinks, & cookies in the lobby. Just a quick drive to NECI. The morning checkout was easy & staff very pleasant.

We were welcomed at 9:00 PM with a plate of hot cookies and soda. We had a very clean room with very comfortable beds. We woke up and had a delicious hot breakfast. We enjoyed the Kureig in our room. When we checked out, we were offered bottled water. We were also given bottles during our stay. Comfort Inn, truly lived up to their name!

Friendly, welcoming staff. Attractive lobby, attractive clean, comfortable room. Good location (just off exit 7). Montpelier is a Gay-friendly town. Great local shops & arts. Kayaking near-by (Waterbury Resevoir, Writghtsville Resevoir) Shaws Groceries & Gas stations across the street.

This hotel was exactly what was needed. Nothing fancy but a a clean, safe place to sleep. The location was perfect with an Applebees and gas station in very close proximity to the hotel as well as a Shaws grocery store across the street. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Upon arriving in room the desk clerk called to check that the room was okay. The room was very clean as was the bathroom. The a/c units were noisy to run at night and the refrigerators were the small cubical type but did the job. Clean laundry room with two washers/dryers on the lower level. Soap and coins were available at the front desk. The exercise room was nice with several cardio machines and weights. The Sunday breakfast was from 6am-10am which was nice for those needing an early breakfast. The food was decent with scrambled/hard boiled eggs, bacon, sausage, breads for toast, yogurt, fruit, cereal, waffles, juice and coffee/tea. The woman in the breakfast room was very helpful. A final perk, the lobby had chocolate chip cookies, small sodas, water, and coffee/tea available at all times. Very well run hotel. Overall a great place to stay if you need a no frills clean room with a hot breakfast. Will definitely stay again.

The staff at the hotel were wry friendly, informative, ad accommodating. The hotel offers a free hot breakfast (which was decent), free bottles of water and cans of soda, and was conveniently located only 20 minutes from Stowe and Waterbury. The rooms were clean and quiet, the heat/AC worked great, beds were comfy and the water pressure was great. For $120 a night on new years weekend, it was very reasonably priced for the quality stay.

This is the second time I've stayed here while in Montpelier. It's a great hotel to use as a homebase for spending time in downtown Montpelier and Waterbury. A quick drive to both. Nice hotel, super convenient, comfy beds.

We just needed a hotel for one night while traveling through the state. The hotel staff was as friendly as could be and even called the room to ask if we were happy with the room and if they could get us anything else. I found the room to be very clean. (coming from a neat freak!) A great one cup coffee maker in the room with tons of k-cups. Restaurants right next to the hotel for a quick bite. Overall it was a great stay and would book again.

We stayed there on our 10 day trip to New England to see the fall leaves. The hotel was very loud at night. When I mentioned it to the front desk he said something like last night was not as loud as some nights. Breakfast was really nice., The sheets had a funny ordor, Kinda of a hot burnt smell. The hotel was ok, good location, good breakfast, and free wi-fi with a special code.

My 2nd time to stay here while on work assignment. Staff is efficient and friendly. Great hot breakfast & great location to state offices.

Nice comfortable clean room. The staff we talked with during check in/out were very nice and helpful. Nice touch with the board games and free cookies, milk and soda in the lobby. Didn't try them but it looked like lots of others did. Also the free computer internet use in the lobby was helpful. It was just a weekend trip so I hadn't brought my laptop with me and I wanted to check something online. The tv in our room could probably use with some updating but if that's the only thing I could find wrong with the hotel, not bad.

Attended an Opera in St. Johnsbury Saturday evening and at the Barre Opera House on Sunday. We were offered refreshments and free USA phoning available 24 hrs a day available in the lobby. Everything was clean and convenient. Our Room was full of little surprise goodies, I felt spoiled. Non smoking throughout the facility was a plus. Does not compare, this trip far outweighed any other experience I have encountered in the last 35 years.

We spent one night at this location while touring New England via car. The location was excellent and the front desk staff was helpful in locating points of interest. Extra amenities, such as free soft drinks, were appreciated.
