The hotel was conveniently located at the base of the mountain, and the property/rooms and amenities were very nice. We were a little disappointed that we had to valet our vehicle and then walk all the way down the hill and dig it out ourselves for over an hour in order to get it out of "valet". We also had a hard time getting any dinner and breakfast our last night and morning there I guess due to short staffing and weather
My wife and I were looking for a quick getaway in the Southern Vermont mountains and found the perfect spot. The staff was extremely accommodating to our needs and did everything possible to make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. The resort is mainly oriented toward skiing, but we were there in the summer and found plenty to do. One great feature is its full length outdoor lap pool and 2 hot tubs, which are open year round. (You can access the pool without going outside during the winter.) There are also nice hikes and mountain biking on the property. Fantastic place to go any time of year.

Thank you for your feedback Felix! I am excited that you enjoyed our location, property/rooms, and amenities. Our slopeside location is certainly one of my favorite parts of our hotel. My apologies we did not have the opportunity to exceed your expectations. Tuesday's storm left us with 4 feet of snow and your understanding is deeply appreciated. I will be sharing your comments regarding with our Managers and coach the team to provide better service in the future. Again, thank you for visiting the Grand Summit Hotel and providing feedback regarding your experience.
