The gardens were beautiful. They tried to give us a step down room in very poor condition. The room we paid for they gave away and they could only get us in a semi decent room for half our stay. We had to rework our vacation and find places to stay. Without support from Orbitz they wouldn't have given us a refund. Even then they tried to give us 300.00 less. With Orbitz support it all worked out. I was so grateful we booked through Orbitz. We wouldn't go back. The pictures and amenities on the website are really misleading.

Lovely property. Secluded and peaceful. Gardens are beautiful. Cabins look simple. Rooms in main lodge are very clean and new bathrooms. Feels like summer camp with water activities, tennis and golf. You are off the grip. Only cell service is their free wifi.

Basin Harbor places you next to Lake Champlain and within a 5-minute walk of Lake Champlain Maritime Museum. This 147-room, 3.5-star hotel has a golf course, a marina, and 3 restaurants.
There are multiple options for onsite dining with 3 restaurants, including Red Mill Restaurant, which specializes in American cuisine. At the end of the day, relax with a drink at the bar/lounge. Start each morning off right with buffet breakfast served for a fee.
Bathrooms have hair dryers and free toiletries. Other amenities include iPod docks, coffee makers, and phones.
Guests of Basin Harbor have access to a golf course, a marina, and a nightclub. You can take advantage of free parking, along with an airport shuttle (available 24 hours) for USD 95.00 per vehicle roundtrip. Multilingual staff at the front desk are standing by 24/7 to help with tours or tickets, luggage storage, and securing valuables. Other amenities at this beach hotel include an outdoor pool, a gym, and outdoor tennis courts.

We agreed to allow you depart early and without penalty.
