Absolutely spotless hotel! Gleaming bathroom, lovely lighting in the rooms, nice TVs and strong wifi, large fridge and microwave... quiet, beautiful surroundings and very pleasant staff. I love this hotel so much!
I found the hotel to be very clean, well appointed, and overall a nice place to stay.
It’s an old motel. It needs to be updated. Breakfast was in an unattached building.
Simple. Nothing fancy. Some of the repairs/updating issloppy.
It was very nice, but it was a little noisy the night we happened to stay there.
Got my money's worth. Not fancy but comfortable room.
Great location, easy to get to. The room was clean and nicely appointed. They had a nice continental breakfast.
The rooms were updated and very nice. The bed was so comfortable. The restaurant was closed for renovation but they still served breakfast in the little office. I would stay here again.
A very quiet motel on the outskirts of a small town. Reasonably priced with a surprising modern room.
After a long day, I checked in. It took too long. When I finally opened the door to the room, someone else's bags were already there. Nuff said.
This motel has quite a hotel feel once you enter the room which is newly remodeled in fine style. There is still the live-in unit which doubles as a reception/breakfast building and the room entrance typical of a motel facing the parking lot.
Late arrival and staff was helpful and welcome. No complains
I was looking to stay one night to break up a road trip. The rooms were amazing and the owner was as nice as could be. I would highly recommend staying
The room was very nice. There were some small windows high up on the entrance side of the room. There was a large window on the other side of the room. We were able to get cross ventilation to cool the room without using the air conditioner. The breakfast served was decent, from scrambled eggs, French toast and sausage or bacon. There was also cereals and bagels. There was a toaster for the bagels. There was coffee, milk, tea bags, apple and orange juice. We didn't see the staff very much, but they were pleasant when we did see them. When we returned a the end of the day, the room had been made up. Will definitely go back there when we are in the area.
Booked a king room originally but called early on the day of the stay to see if 2 Queen's were possible instead of the King. Owner charged us an additional $20 at check in because of the change. Really???? They were the same priced rooms at time of booking so I can't figure out why the up charge. We hadn't requested an extra bed, just a room type change. Would never stay again. Hosts were difficult to understand and communicate with. Very disappointing stay.
Everything was brand new and clean. Had dirt bikes on the back of our, truck and everything was very safe.
Pulling in, the Putney Inn is not much to look at. However, this was the only negative of our entire stay. The gentleman at the desk was very friendly at check-in. Wi-fi was included. The speeds were not blazing, but definitely adequate. What shines is the newly renovated rooms. It was exciting walking in after seeing the outside to see all new everything. The beds were comfy. We didn't watch much TV, but it was a new maybe 32" flat-screen with cable. I was the first person to use the iron. We stayed up too late making friends at JD McCliment's to check out the included continental breakfast.
