Booked hotel 10 weeks before the stay specifically so I could use the pool and hot tub for my health condition. 4 days before arriving (1 day AFTER penalty free cancellation), I noticed they posted on their web site the pool & hot tub would be closed for the next 4 weeks (starting a few week before we arrived). When I asked at the front desk when they posted that noticed she said beginning of the month. Letting those with reservations aware of the change should occurred via email. At a minimum a little more notice would have been nice. Otherwise the stay was good.

The room was clean and comfortable. The front desk staff - kind and helpful. Had to go to several floors to find a drink vending machine that worked. The driveway was not plowed upon arrival. Most cars including myself got stuck trying to get out in the morning. I understand winter storms in VT but parking lot was poorly maintained - disappointing.

Very pleasant stay

Check in staff were super helpful. We did not know the hot tub and pool were not open, which bummed us out. We loved that all the rooms were animal friendly. The cookies were also Faboo!

Called before making reservations to ask if pool and hot tub was available.We was out in the cold all day wanting to use hot tub and pool to relax then asked y my card key to open pool door wasn’t working they said it was not working over a month .That was upsetting after knowing this we already paid to stay here because we wanted to use hot tub.The fron desk said it was working before we booked which was a lie they never checked.I would have booked another hotel for a lower price.

We were pretty disappointed that the pool and hot tub were out of service….. that’s why we paid more to stay at the Hampton vs. the others in the area. They did not offer any reimbursement. I was told all rooms have a bathtub…..
