Cannot complain about anything.

We thought we were staying in a historic inn from the 1800s. Even though we made the reservation 8 months in advance we weren't in the inn, we were in the motel 6 style new building adjacent. The historic tavern was one of the reasons we chose this place, but it was closed for the day. We got the same historical experience that we got from the La Quinta we stayed in Boston.

We were happy to support a locally managed inn at a central location, and check-in staff was professional and courteous. We did not love the humidity in the room, lack of effective exhaust fan in the bathroom, and gap under the room door (light visible during darkness hours means easy critter access). There was also an enormous microwave taking up half of the bathroom counter. There was only one nightstand outlet accessible (many in room, but not in ideal location). Perhaps staying in the main inn is more exciting, but our room in the annex was dated and somewhat shabby (missing and oddly hung artwork, stains on sofa upholstery). A few small improvements are needed to level things up. We will be back to town, but we not stay here again.

Perfect!

They upgraded me which was a delightful surprise!

Charming, friendly, always love to visit the Middlebury Inn.

Middlebury Inn is always a class act with warm, helpful staff. Vermont rocks.

Room was very large. It even had 2 bathrooms. Overall the Inn could use some updating inside - old carpets, drapes and furnishings. The TV in the room was too small for such a large room. Hotel is very convenient to the college and town.

I loved the historic feel of the Inn, both as a whole and the indiviual rooms. Yet all the modern conveniences were there..
