We liked the location of the property. The room was comfortable and roomy.

Spending the night and meeting friends for dinner; restaurant was good, the overall hotel experience wasn’t up to my expectations (not horrible, just less than I expected); parking was horrible

Old, dated and needs reurbished badly. Room advertised and booked doesn't exist at the property. Didn't recognize my Diamond status and stuck us in a closet of a room overlooking the air conditioning units of another building.

Clean room and close to downtown.

The elevator being out made the stay very compromised. The amount of absurd walking to get to and from our room made us too tired to want to leave the room. For all the money and effort we spent to go skiing, we were simply too drained to get out much. I had a fear of leaving the building and forgetting something, because going back to the room for a forgotten item would be devastating, especially in ski gear. It required us to walk up three flights of stairs then across half of the very large hotel, then up an elevator. The alternative was to walk across half of the very large hotel, then up an elevator, then across the full length of the hotel, then up a flight of stairs, then across half the hotel, then up another elevator. It was just absurd.

The parking lot is dark, dirty, underground, and spaces way to small

This was a very good deal for the price and it's pet friendly. Large spacious rooms, AC not working but they provided fans. Downtown is less than 10 minutes walking.

Filthy. Absolutely disgusting.

Very close to town, enjoyed walking in to town, lots of shopping and places to eat/drink.

There is no air conditioning. The windows only open a few inches. We couldn’t get the temperature in our room below 80 degrees.

I have had a lifetime of travel experience, and this hotel’s service was the worst I’ve ever encountered. We arrived around 1230 am and didn’t get a room until 1:45am, as the room keys didn’t work on 4 occasions, which was a huge issue bc the property layout is a nightmare to navigate (3 elevators to get to the room!) with ski gear, and each time we had to go back down to the lobby. They had to swap our rooms out, as well. When we arrived to the second room, there was no bedding for the pullout couch, and when I called the front desk, they initially were going to give it to my friend to lug up to the room, in addition to the luggage.

Went for skiing. As long as peak 9 is open we walked across the parking lot and hopping on the groomed trails at 9am & had access to the entire resort via chairlifts & runs.

Rooms are dark, outdated and gloomy. Location is OK. Need shuttle to town but can walk to chair lift on Peak 9

They are very dog friendly here so I will probably come again since there aren't that many hotels that allow my Rottweiler. But...it was so noisy that I slept terribly. All of the room doors slam closed and the sound echos. Unless people whisper in the hallways, you can hear their conversations. The maids were vacuuming in a nearby room at 7:30 AM! Lastly, the mattress felt extra extra firm to me and I couldn't get comfortable. I couldn't wait to get home and get a decent night of sleep.

Not impressed at all! Valet area was very crowded / rushed and they would not acknowledge anyone.. very frustrating to sit and wait while they walked back and forth by you... as well, something was up with the heating cooling system in the rooms as they had a portable unit that looked like R2-D2… That was pouring heat into our room due to vents falling out of the window and off the back of the machine… Room went from incredibly hot to crazy cold. Did not really discover this till late at night as we were out most of the night… Calling the desk wasn’t an option when Do you have kids and dogs and it’s late. Would not stay there again

We had a rental car in perfect condition when we arrived. The valet who parked the car parked it close to a wall and scraped the right rear fender and nobody told my wife or myself. The next day when we were in Colorado Springs I noticed it so it was too late to let the hotel know. Luckily the rental car company did not charge for it. This was the only hotel on our trip that we could not park ourselves. Other than that it is in a great location and no other complaints. Res of staff friendly.

We stayed here 3 years ago and we were told heavy duty renovations were getting ready to occur. Fast forward to last weekend - weird elevator situation still, rooms look exactly the same, bathroom door hits the toilet seat upon opening. Not staying here again

Valet staff was very polite and helpful. We had a very short stay (arrived late, left the next morning) so we were unable to enjoy any amenities. The hotel staff was very helpful, polite, and gave us extra time to check out since our hike up the nearby 14er took a little longer than expected.

The Double Tree is located near Downtown and was an easy walk to restaurants and shops. Its an older Hotel and the lobby and hallways are dated. The room was very clean and the staff was extremely friendly and ready to help.

Such an incredible experience! The staff were beyond nice and amazingly accommodating.
