Not impressed at all! Valet area was very crowded / rushed and they would not acknowledge anyone.. very frustrating to sit and wait while they walked back and forth by you... as well, something was up with the heating cooling system in the rooms as they had a portable unit that looked like R2-D2… That was pouring heat into our room due to vents falling out of the window and off the back of the machine… Room went from incredibly hot to crazy cold. Did not really discover this till late at night as we were out most of the night… Calling the desk wasn’t an option when Do you have kids and dogs and it’s late. Would not stay there again

We had a rental car in perfect condition when we arrived. The valet who parked the car parked it close to a wall and scraped the right rear fender and nobody told my wife or myself. The next day when we were in Colorado Springs I noticed it so it was too late to let the hotel know. Luckily the rental car company did not charge for it. This was the only hotel on our trip that we could not park ourselves. Other than that it is in a great location and no other complaints. Res of staff friendly.

We stayed here 3 years ago and we were told heavy duty renovations were getting ready to occur. Fast forward to last weekend - weird elevator situation still, rooms look exactly the same, bathroom door hits the toilet seat upon opening. Not staying here again

Valet staff was very polite and helpful. We had a very short stay (arrived late, left the next morning) so we were unable to enjoy any amenities. The hotel staff was very helpful, polite, and gave us extra time to check out since our hike up the nearby 14er took a little longer than expected.

The Double Tree is located near Downtown and was an easy walk to restaurants and shops. Its an older Hotel and the lobby and hallways are dated. The room was very clean and the staff was extremely friendly and ready to help.

Such an incredible experience! The staff were beyond nice and amazingly accommodating.

Pros: Great location to Peak 9 chair lift (walk across street), Ski shop on site, good restaurant and snack bar, friendly staff Cons: $35/day parking, looooong walk to Spruce Tower (especially in ski boots), Housekeeping failed to clean room after contacting front desk (complete no show), rooms and facilities in need of upgrade

Staff was great, helpful and friendly. Long walk and elevators to get to the top floors. Close to the lift.

We had such a great stay at the Double Tree! The staff were absolutely amazing! They were so friendly and helped us way beyond what any other hotel has ever done. We loved the shuttle that drove us basically wherever we wanted. They held our bags while we waited for our flight. The staff were amazingly helpful with our activities that we wanted to do as well as just finding the perfect place for the gifts to take home for family! Thank you guys so much from us! We would definitely love to stay here again!

Great location and great Hotel. This was a great value for the cost of staying. Central location.

Too much walking and elevator changes.,carpets need replacing

Great location for ski chairlift access and that’s about it. My room was a total of $300 per night (including taxes and fees) plus the only place to park is with the hotel so an additional $35.00 per night. I was put in a room with no air and it was 80 degrees when I arrived. The bed was a full (not queen) and to get to the 10th floor, you have to ride in two separate elevators. One elevator takes you to the 7th and then you have to walk to the other side of the building to get to another elevator to get to the 10th. I would’ve been happier and left a better review if I paid $150 per night. Find a cheaper place to stay that includes a shuttle and you’ll feel better about your experience.

Good location but $35 per night mandatory valet; crowded; 1 slow elevator per tower; left message never returned for concierge; standing water in tub; small bathroom ... door can’t open without hitting toilet; balcony sliding door lock broken; wouldn’t book here again; friendly and helpful staff though.

Found a tick on bedding, told front desk staff, they said they'd check room immediately, also told maid as I was leaving room about insect. They didn't change bedding, had to request a change of bedding after I returned to room 6 hours later. Carpeting had much debris, plastic-type splinter worked its way into daughter's bare foot. Walls were paper-thin, heard every word of every conversation as people walked thru hallway, despite asking for room away from elevator, was given a room 3 doors away and heard noisy elevator running up and down. Food in hotel restaurant pretty terrible.

My daughter and I stayed in this hotel for two nights, while in town for pre-wedding meetings. Since the wedding is to take place in Breckenridge, the Doubletree was one of the hotels we were told to recommend to guests because of a group rate. The layout of the hotel is not user friendly, because it is necessary to use multiple elevators to get to top floors in the two towers. At check-in we were not told about the shuttle that takes you to town to enjoy shopping and restaurants. We learned that by observing and asking. We were not told about ski storage facility, and yes we did ski one day. Disappointed is how we felt and when recommending a hotel for our guests, the Doubletree will not be high on the list.

Convoluted long walk to room! No microwave, overpriced

great staff, free valet, good breakfast. Stayed one night walked to the lift the next morning and were able to leave our car in valet until we were done riding. very nice!
