This place is rated at two stars and boy does it show. There were scuff marks on the counters and missing chunks of leather from the chair. The AC didn’t work and I had to be moved to another room. The next room I was moved into had a television that only displayed in the color, purple and lights, which flickered continuously. The Wi-Fi brought me back to the days of dial up in terms of speed, and the sheets were thin paper. nonetheless, it cost me over $200 a night because it was October and I wanted to be near Salem. there is luckily a Walmart literally next-door that you can walk to in about a minute. everyone staying at the hotel was friendly and one desk worker was friendly while another showed extreme attitude for no reason. At one point, the card key access to my door just stopped working for no reason and we had to get new cards. Stay here if you’re desperate and you wanna be near Salem because you won’t get bedbugs, and it’s basically clean.

I had a truly unreal experience. I’m an avid traveler and have stayed in hostels, hotels etc etc. of many kinds. I’m not super picky, but this really floored me. The conditions at this hotel were abysmal. The staff were unable (unwilling?) to change my room. I paid over $245 and forced to stay in a room in terrible condition. They did issue a refund after I worked with Hotels.com, but it didn’t change how uncomfortable the stay was for my partner and I.

This was perhaps the worst hotel experience I have had. Check-in took 30 minutes due to a long line and some issue with the software. Our room smelled atrocious. There was pet hair on the floor and garbage from the last guest. The real kicker was when I went to take a shower in the morning the shower was broken. Not a drop of water came out. The front desk staff assured me the manager would call to reimburse our stay but I have heard nothing. Please don’t stay here.

This hotel is by far a disgrace to stay at. The hotels Stink, and we arrived at 3 to only be told by someone that the room isn’t available to comeback in a hour. We had a wedding at 4:30 to get to, but we had not other choice but to wait. The key cards were not working, omg this hotel is disgusting. The prior reviews were right, the hallways stunk sooooo bad. And there was MOLD on the ceiling of our bathroom. The fridge stunk sooo bad too. Omg. If I could give it 0 stars I would.

Checked in late with one expecting a clean bed and a shower to freshen up after a long day on to find feces on the outside of the toilet, dirty floors (I had to throw my socks away), hairs in between the sheets as though they’ve been used and hadn’t been changed for a while hairs in the bathroom on the sink and the pillows. Something smeared over the TV which did not work due to being “off line” even though the promise of “staying connected” was advertised, no WiFi for our phones also. It was discussing, I most threw up using the bathroom. There is no care in cleanliness here.

Absolute junk

The entire facility smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke, even though everything was supposed to be non-smoking. There were what appeared to be indigent people standing just outside the door, smoking cigarettes, and dope. Our room was a suite, with a couch that had been destroyed by someone’s animals.. After seeing that, I went back down to the front desk and told the guy so we wouldn’t be accused of it. His reply was “all the rooms are like that“. There were no kitchen amenities in the room. Fair enough on that, But they’re also wasn’t a coffee maker. Going back to the front desk I asked for a pot so that we could boil water to make coffee. And I had to wait for someone to clean a pot. This is the worst experience I’ve had and I am a frequent traveler.

The property pictures are extremely deceptive. The room was filthy and the air conditioner vents had mold and blow out air that smelled like smoke. The walls are thin and I heard noises all not long. People hung out in front of the property while staring guests as they walk into the hotel. Very scary and unsettling. Never again!

Salem Trip

Great priced hotel for our Salem weekend trip. About 20 minutes from Salem itself. Great location overall with a walmart next door and plenty of restaurant options within 5 minutes. Not the cleaned place i’ve stayed, had some bugs in our room as well as an old soap bar sitting on top of the shower rim from previous guests. Room came with fridge, stove top, microwave, etc. Staff was helpful throughout our stay. Would recommend for a short busy weekend.

Rundown room

My stay was not great. The room seemed clean enough but very rundown - the upholstery on the desk chair was mostly peeled off, the chair near the bed was covered with a poorly fitted cover that looked to be meant for a much larger chair and was also in rough condition. The towels were dingy and worn but again, they seemed clean. The pillows were flat and uncomfortable. The "blanket" was the thickness of a sheet.
