Jenny on the front desk was AWESOME. The hotel double charged me and I had to fix the problem myself with telephone calls to get it straightened out. Took days. Room was nice short of the facti found a pair of fake eyelashes at the end of my bed while checking out which I don’t wear. Not so good for housekeeping

Winter Stay

The hotel was clean. The front desk wasn’t manned as well as it should be - as several guests waited quite some time to check in or have issues resolved. There was no restaurant on site and no breakfast foods available nearby on a Monday or Tuesday. The water didn’t get quite hot enough for my liking. Beds were comfortable but the gas log fireplace was a hit.

The added $23 bucks at check in was off putting. Expedia needs to notify guests when booking that this will happen (maybe you did). There was no shampoo in the bathroom, and no one to bring it to us (it was the day after XMAS).

There were no washcloths, TV was off line, coffee maker didn’t work and it was very noisy probably because of the 1/2 to 1 inch space below the door. Room was very clean and the fireplace was great considering the cold weather. At check-out, clerk indicated my receipt would be e mailed to me….still have not received it.

The stay was great. Not a fan of neighbors who let the door slam at 4am - it's very inconsiderate! The window in the room was broken and not able to open (oceanfront) it didn't stay up and wouldn't lock...other than that I felt like a princess who was pampered!
